I love this product. The packaging it nice neat and tighty. You can see at a glance if all pieces are there. There are tons of options from color, flash modes and speeds of flash. You also have options for power. You can connect with a USB port or if one isn't convenient you can connect a battery pack that is included. I tried both and both worked as expected. The battery pack does require three AA batteries that doesn't come with it, so plan accordingly. You can connect several strings together, but I have only purchased just the one, but may invest in another to experiment with that. There is adhesive on the back of the strip so you can put most anywhere. The strip is clear silicone and you can see the curicuts in it when it's off. I do not recommend you look to see if the curicuts are visible when it's on, due to how bright the lights are. Because you can see the curicuts when it's off, you may want to put it out of direct vision. If I buy another string, I will come back and update this review.

Upon arrival of the first order, red LEDs stopped functioning properly within 5 minutes of opening the product. Still technically functional, but with a limited color range.However, the seller offered a full replacement for free so as long as that new item is completely functional then there is no net loss and I can recommend this product.REVIEW UPDATE: Only a few months after receiving the replacement LED strip, it too has died, leaving me no choice but to update this review. I give it 2 stars because it did function for a few months, although it was being powered on for a maximum of 5 minutes per day.The strip still produces light, but ONLY solid red light, with no other color options and no flashing or other patterns. The attached image shows the product in it's only operational mode.

I bought these particular lights because of having both battery case and usb cable. I had intended to use them on my mobility walker for the holidays, but after opening it and looking at it, decided that was not best use, and instead mounted the tape around the outside edge of my 40" TV. I know people usually put these on the back of their TV, or under counters, shelves, etc. but I kind of like seeing the lights themselves, not just the light emitted.The adhesive sticks well. In fact, I first put them around the TV stand and didn't like it and removed them and re-stuck them around the edge of the TV, and it re-adhered with no issues, which was a pleasant surprise.I think I would prefer having some with a remote, which these do not have, but for my purposes it, it works well, as I just leave them on purple and steady light.

This light strip is really cool. I was really surprised with how much you can change it up. There are lots of different colors and then you can also change the speed of flashing. The back does have sticky tape so that you can apply it and leave it stuck, but we have kept it on so that we can use it in different places. It can run off of batteries or you can plug it in using a usb plug. I am using it for christmas for lighting under the fake snow, it looks so cool. We are going to use it next for camping and I am thinking of ordering more to keep around the house for different uses. It works great as a night light it a kids bedroom.

These are great. I needed to cut one of the lines and splice in a longer, remote on/off switch and everything was fine. I bought some USB wall plugs and these now can run off an outlet or batteries. They all worked as advertised. I bought nine and they were all good.

These lights are very good quality for the price. I don't know what the strip is made of, but it is kind of rubbery. The controls are located at the end of the strip and there are more colors than I thought there were. You can leave it on one single color or cycle through all of them. There is a button to control the speed of the flashing as well. According to the instructions, there are 19 different modes of flashing patterns and 8 levels of speed and brightness.These lights can be run with 3 aa batteries or you can use the USB attachment to plug them in, which I plan on doing. If you think the strip is too long, you can cut it in half and insert one of the included connector pieces into the end later so you can put it back together again if you want too. The back of the strip is peel and stick which can be useful, but for now I am going to leave it on so I can move the lights around whenever I want to.

What a fun product. The kids are fighting over where it should go and who should get it. I love the dual power options. The usb is fantastic if we use it in the office/game room on the computer monitor. The other option that the kids would like is for on there bikes and the battery pack is very handy for that. The packaging was great and I like that it came wound up on a film cassette (that brought back some early childhood memories). The options different options on speed, effect and colors is great and make so the wife can change it when her tastes are different then mine or the kids.I like that there are connectors so that if we need more lights we could buy 2 more strips and extend it for a larger project.

These lights are so much fun. They arrived earlier than expected, always a plus, and I hooked them up and they're just an absolute blast.The light strip comes with a sticky backing so it was really easy to hang.They come with a USB and battery power pack so you can turn them off batteries or hook them directly into your computer for some cool ambient light. I plugged it into the USB slot on my computer so whenever I'm working or playing on my computer I have a bit of ambient light.Really fun light strip i would definitely suggest getting a few of these to add a touch of fun to any room.
