The book gives some basic information and suggestions regardingIELTS writing. However, like most similar books it's short on good skill development and basic writing structure. To do well on the IELTS test you must have basic writing skills. Most IELTS books assume that students know things they do not. Overall, I think it's a book to add to a teachers collection but not a great primary source. I say this from my experience of teaching this test for over 10 years.

Nice guide for IELTS writing tasks. It reveals many aspects of proper writing on exam, scores and marking criteria, gives you suitable vocabulary, structures, time expressions, tips, etc. I recommend it for all IELTS candidates.
