ProPlumber PVC, 1 1/2" Foot Valve

foot valve for pumping water from the lake. performed fine.

On two occasions, the valve did not reseat correctly. This resulted in the water flowing out of the inlet pipe and therefore losing the water pump’s prime. I went back to the more expensive brass foot valve which never had this problem.

very good exterior but internally the o'ring fails, no way to fix it. VERY GOOD SELLER RETURNED THE MONEY.

I inherited this foot valve. Was not holding water prime so pulled it and took it apart. Very cheaply made, sloppy tolerances and no way to fix it. Trashed it.
