After going through numerous other brands, many purchased at garden stores for much more money, I found this to actually keep the deer away from my garden. My only con is the smell, but they warn you about it and it does go away, to the human nose, when it dries. I have gotten it on my clothing and skin and it did not damage either. My landscaper told me that when the deer get used to the product it will no longer deter them. I have used it when initially purchased and then numerous times since spring, and so far, well into the end of June, it still keeps them out of the garden, even though they will be walking around my yard. I will admit that I use it more often than it says on the product, but it does not damage my plants, so I will continue to do so.

This stuff works. We live on STL county and have a bunch of deer. During the past three summers we have used this on all our plants that deer love to munch on. It's now a week into August and we have had zero plant deaths this season bcos of deer. We bought six gallons total to get us through the summer this year and will continue to buy in years to come. Spray can last 4-6 days without watering or rain. We always spray after rain. It makes our yard smell like coyote pee which keeps the deer away.

The deer have been devouring my hastas and now they ate all of the flowers off of my azaleas which they have never touched before! This product works incredible! I spray it right on any plants I do not want to get eaten and all the animals stay away. I make sure to reapply after a good rain to be sure it stays on the leaves. It smells horrible but once it's dried on the plants you cannot smell it. I have used this for years with success. I had ran out of this product and got lazy about getting a new bottle and that is when the deer were able to chomp all the leaves off so I know this stuff works! I have tried those sound sensors to keep animals away and they don't do ANYTHING but make a high-pitched sound that I don't want to hear! The only con I have about this particular bottle that I purchased is that the nozzle doesn't work but luckily, I still had an empty spray bottle that I just poured it into.

I’m not impressed with this product. I use it to repel deer from my flowers, but the scent seems to wear off much sooner than the label suggests. I live in a rainy climate, so it requires frequent reapplication if you want any chance of protecting your plants. So far, my rosebuds still haven’t survived the deer. If you live in an area with regular rain, be prepared to apply it often.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective Rabbit Deterrent for My Garden! I purchased Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent primarily to protect my raised garden beds from rabbits, and it has worked very well. I live in town, so I don't really have problems with deer, but rabbits were constantly helping themselves to my plants before I started using this product. The ready-to-use spray is convenient and easy to apply, and after using it, I noticed a significant decrease in rabbit damage. My plants have been able to grow without being nibbled down, which has made gardening much more enjoyable. While the scent is noticeable right after application, it fades, and the protection is well worth it. I appreciate having a simple solution that helps keep unwanted visitors away without putting up fencing around every garden bed. If you're struggling with rabbits in your garden, this product is definitely worth trying. It has helped protect my raised beds and keep my plants looking their best!

We never had rabbits before. Apparently they’re showing up in the area. First saw one May 28. Saw again 2 days later and saw a few sliced salvia which weren’t eaten. 90% of my flowers are toxic to rabbits - meaning they’ll taste it-quickly get a stomach ache- and remember not to eat that flower or plant again. Decided to try liquid fence around the garden beds. I had 4 hydrangeas that were newly planted- rabbits like tender shoots and young plants. Sprayed around the hydrangeas and anything else rabbits like or had new shoots/tender shoots. Rabbit still pranced thru on occasion but didn’t nibble anything except weeds and a few clover. Then went almost a month with no sight of a rabbit. Seems to work. It smells pretty funky!

I rarely write a review but this product so far is excellent. I have tried (and continue to use) several methods to deter deer from eating my plants, especially my morning glories. I have solar motion activated sprinklers and motion activated noise makers. They help some but spraying this product on my plants has so far worked great in keeping the deer at bay. I water 2 times a day, every day so the only issue is I have to spray it nightly. But I have found after 2-3 days of spraying really well I can now just kind of sprinkle the plants. The smell seems to build up so I don't have to use as much now. Bottom line - this product is excellent as it is the only product that my deer will avoid and leave my plants alone.

My wooded back yard abuts other wooded back yards so there are plenty of deer and rabbits that love to chomp on several of my wife's perennials. Liquid Fence does what it says it will do if you follow the directions and reapply it regularly. My only problem with the product is the spray system. It rarely works, and when it does, it stops working before the container is empty. Because the cap is integral to the sprayer it doesn't come off like a conventional screw-on cap, so I often use a box cutter to cut a hole in the plastic container so I can pour the liquid into a sprayer. It's messy and it's smelly.

I have been using this for a few months now. I can see deer on the camera by my hedge and they are not eating the hedge - so far so good and the hedge is growing strong which will protect it from the deer better than young shoots.

Hopefully will deter deer from our garden

It seems to be working - which is extraordinary as we have a large area where dear and rabbits can enter.

Bought it for my mother’s garden to get rid of rabbits. Followed the instructions and the rabbits are still there. Waste of time and money.

Didn't stop any rabbits or deer coming onto our property.
