Cuisinart Open Skillet, 10", Black

I was really hopeful when I got this pan to cook fried eggs in and, as with most non-stick pans it worked exceptionally well at first. I have never used it hotter than medium low and always hand washed it after it cooled. Not long after I had it I needed to use a little oil or the eggs would stick but clean up was easy. Then it happened, during regular washing I noticed that the coating was discolored around the rivets that hold the handle on. I scrubbed a little more and realized that I was washing the coating off. Now it is coming off on the cooking surface. I got it on June 7th so after only two months I will be trying something new.

My mother loves the pan but don't count on Cuisinart customer service if you have a problem. My mother babies her cookware but somehow the skillet ended up with little sharp imperfections on the bottom of it. Contacting Cuisinart for warranty replacement has been nothing short of a complete run around. We have been working on a resolution for months and they will not help. Very disappointed in Cuisinart customer service.

Nice pan, our household favorite. It has a ceramic coating that is very easy to clean and with ocassional seasoning great non-stick. If you clean it in a dishwasher, you have to season it every 5-6 washes, by hand 10-12 washes and it will remain like new. We bought two and overheated one and the ceramic coating began to chip in many places.I will attemp to claim a warranty to see if they stand behind it.

This skillet worked great when I first used it, but after a couple of months everything sticks to it unless you use a lot of oil, like frying hashbrown potato patties. It may be my fault for using too high of a temperature but on an electric stove it is very hard to keep the heat at an even temperature. Not sure if that is the reason or not.

Terrible customer service with Cuisinart. Owned pan less than 2 years. Use of approximately once a week and food sticks to pan. Never used Pam spray or put in dishwasher. Contacted Amazon because Amazon does not normally allow customers to be treated this way. Customer Service at Cuisinart said it will most likely take 2 months to review because they are short staffed.

So far love this skillet. Nice and heavy and high quality construction. Fried eggs slide easily. Due to what I've read about high heat ruining the non-stick on ceramic pans, I avoid high heat. I had a cheaper ceramic pan that lost its non-stick surface after using oil and high heat, so not doing it with this one. So far so good...

I bought two sizes of the Cuisinart ceramic non-stick skillets because of the name. they were both well below the quality i expected from Cuisinart. i sent one back because i could not get the food removed. the second one i kept longer, but it is also very difficult to clean. neither one was really non-stick. i am surprised since Cuisinart has such a good reputation. i am going back to Teflon.

These Cuisinart frying pans are phenomenal. I bought one on sale at Kohl's and after using it I had to buy a larger one here on Amazon. I love these things. I do almost all of the cooking and this has made life so much easier. It heats evenly and nothing sticks to it. Food comes out great.

A little too soon to judge but it does have a chip in the enamel already. Review I read said it was safe to use metal utensils on so now I’m not certain if this is true.

This is by far the best frying pan I have ever used. It is safe, non stick and very easy to clean.
