I have had this keyboard for several months now, and wish I could say that I love it. The great reviews it go made me think it would be worth the high price, but it's not. My problem is that there are a few keys that do not consistently register when typing. At first, I thought it was me, but then, I noticed that when I specifically focused on hitting the offending keys, they simply do not register at times. The manufacturer touts the quality of the keys, but the fact is that a few of them are temperamental. I would like to attempt pulling the offending keys, and moving them to a location where they are infrequently used, but I'm afraid I will damage a keyboard that I purchased for a lot of money. However, I just may get frustrated enough to try it anyway.

This is a good value - a basic tenkeyless mechanical keyboard with quality switches for a fair price. Great for typing and it's not too gamery that I would be embarrassed to take it to work. For the price this is a 5-star product - it exceeds my expectations.Pros:-Cherry MX Brown Switches - known as the typist keys, these don't dissapoint and also work really well for gaming on the side-Feels solidly built - not lightweight, no board flex-Basic accessory pack - (wrist rest, cleaning brush, silver colored / textured keys for QWERASDF for change out if desired)-Thick braided USB cable with gold plating-Basic illumination levels / modes for the LED backlight-Multi-media functions over F1 to F6 buttons (not independent)-Size: 87 key board is much easier to fit inside the keyboard tray in my desk alongside a mouseCons:-Included cord is USB only, there is no legacy PS/2 connector-I don't think this comes with macro / programmable support

Have used the keyboard for a week now, and I really like it. The keys operate very well, and I did test pressing about 20 at once, and they all worked. The keypress requires very little pressure as you would expect with mx brown keys. The backlight works well, and does have several options for the backlight settings. It only has the blue color, but that works for me. It would be nice if you could set specific keys to be lit, or have a couple of different custom lighting sets. For $90 you can't really expect that though.My only problem was that the cable sent with the keyboard did not work. I contacted Amazon's customer service, and they were very helpful getting me a replacement. I'm still using the keyboard, but I had to get my Wii U's USB B cord to connect it to my PC until the replacement arrives.

I love this keyboard.I am no expert on mechanical keyboards, in fact, this is my first one. That said, it delivers exactly what it promised on the tin. Responsive, clicky keys that provide a fantastic typing experience. It reminds me of using a type writer - it makes writing fun and tactile, and makes me want to write just to use the damn thing.It's also compact, has a nice fabric-wrapped cord, and comes with a firm wrist cushion. The lighting is also a nice blue that matches the lighting on my corsair computer.All in all, this is a really nice package for the $90 that I paid. It's so satisfactory that I'm really questioning why someone would spend closer to $130 or $150 for some of the other keyboards I've seen on Amazon.

UpdateI’ve been using this keyboard 8-12 hours a day for 18 months, and it is still going strong. Just as happy with it as I was in my original review. Real workhorse.This is my first mechanical keyboard and I'm simply blown away by the difference! I am a typist, working 8-12 hours a day at my keyboard. The tactile feedback is amazing, and I love the clicky sound of the keys.Because it's tenkeyless, I can get my mouse up close without having to reach. This is great for productivity.

I absolutely love this keyboard. I had a daskeyboard with Cherry MX Blues, but they drove my girlfriend crazy with the noise, and I wanted backlit keys anyways.This keyboard has a variety of backlight patterns (WASD, auto-dim, full backlight, and probably another 1 or 2 I can't think of). It fit perfectly within my budget and was one of the only keyboards that fit ALL of my wants/needs (Brown switches, blue backlit keys, 10-keyless, certain price range).When I bought it, there were no reviews, but I saw that it was fulfilled by Amazon, so I decided to take the leap. I do not regret it at all, and I am so happy that I did.

Switches are clone manufacturer. LEDs are only one color - blue. Adjusting brightess is difficult because the lower (dim) levels flicker on/off and the brighter levels are all too bright, which leaves OFF. I returned this keyboard and still am searching for a decent tactile feel and lighting combination.

Love the cherry mx Brown switches and the build quality on the iNSIST G55 is superb. Love the inclusion of the 8 bonus extra tactile keys, the wrist rest, the keycap puller, and the brush. The cable management was well designed and the many rubber padding on the bottom keep this keboard in place. All this added up to give me my new go to keyboard! Great job INSIST...THANK YOU!

Great keyboard except for 2 small problems.After a few weeks of use, the backlight behind the right arrow key isn't working anymore, and there is a delay when typing an apostrophe or speech marks. I have to type something else or press space when it shows up. Not sure if this is a keyboard problem or a problem with my computer.
