Powder Coated Steel Handle with Threaded Metal Tip, 60" L, Black

I love my new handle. It is strong and clean, but for my push broom, there is a feature to prevent the handle from twisting based on the hex shaped sleeve where the handle connnects to the threading assembly. If this piece were 1.5 inches longer the handle lock would work with this. I have found a work around for now that seems to be holding.

This one is a winner! Strong steel construction with rugged powder coat finish. Beefy metal threaded base is firmly attached. The handle is surprisingly light weight and the length is marvelous, especially for taller folks. I use this handle with an Unger 10" stiff bristle head to scrub my composite patio deck -- and in the spring with an Unger 9" soft bristle head to wash the clapboards on the sides of my house. This well made steel handle should last for many years. One of those purchases that works as it should... and makes me smile every time I use it.

Very sturdy, I broke a wooden pole, replaced it with this one. Very sturdy.

Jan 14 2019Update:The cast zinc head snapped. =( It seemed like it was sturdy & would have lasted, but I guess not. I almost got a year & a half out of it. I suppose that it was still better than the plastic ones out there. Too bad they don't make them with a steel head, or something more durable.Aug 1 2017This was just perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I purchased 2 other handles like this one but they had plastic screw heads & broke within an hour of using them. This one with it's metal screw head has held up for hours upon hours of heavy use.

They don't break. Great broom handles for our business.
