Louis Rattan Side Chair

This chair is beautiful. If you need a chair....in my case....dining chairs, that won't compete with any other color in the room, then think about these. I have a beautiful wool rug in my dining room, but it has a pattern on it and every upholstered chair I brought in competed with the rug. I was seriously thinking about getting a new rug UNTIL I tried these. They don't compete with the rug or any of the other wood furniture (or color!) in the room. But they do add warmth and texture. Even though, I think they look classic, they actually add a modern touch to the room....which I was looking for. They look beautiful with my big old farm table. They give the Pottery Barn look without spending the Pottery Barn price! They seem sturdy enough for the price. And they have a built in cushion in the seat and are very comfortable! AND.....for all your TJ Maxx fans....these are the exact match to the ones you see in TJ's every now and then. I bought a few at TJ's (for $79!) and needed more. Took a chance that they were the same, and they are! So don't be afraid to snap up what you can there, and add the rest from Amazon!

I marked down on comfort—let’s face it, they are durable wicker. However, they look fantastic in my dining room! Well worth the price, and they were carefully packaged and received in one box.

These chairs are beautiful but not very comfortable to sit on. They itch your legs.

I bought two of these chairs to replace two rattan and wood chairs that were showing wear (and one was broken) over the 15 years I've had them. The backs of the ones these replaced were capped with wood and were a darker shade with lighter colored legs; otherwise, they seem identical. The varied color of the rattan is very attractive as is the curved rattan sides. The chair is well made and very comfortable, with or without a seat cushion. Each chair came packed very carefully in its own box and fully assembled. All surfaces of the chair, including the feet, were covered in cardboard and secured by tape and wrapping ribbon. How nice!

I ordered 6 of these chairs for my dining room table. They arrived well packaged and look great with the table. They are quite lovely chairs in real life. My only quibble, and the reason I only rated 4-stars is that a few of the legs on the chairs were a little bit wobbly, but still sturdy enough to be used as needed.

The chairs were absolutely beautiful, good quality. The only thing is I ordered 3 chairs first to see if I liked them and ordered 2 more to complete my set and the last 2 were darker than the first 3. So my suggestion is order them all at once because you might get them from a different lot. I don't know if I should return the last 2 or not. Besides this, they were the best chairs I ever had and very comfortable because they have a built in cushion. I have had so many compliments on them.

These are the MOST BEAUTIFUL rattan dining chairs I have ever found!! They are exquisite and gave my dining room the "oomph" it so desperately needed. It literally has changed the entire look and brought elegance, luxury, and color (it has so many amazing rattan chocolate, tan, honey etc. colors) to my more neutral dining room. These chairs can also go with ANY dining room table too! They are also the most comfy rattan chairs I've ever sat in and have a great cushion built into the seat under the rattan. I looked everywhere and these were the best of the best!! Highly recommend to everyone!!!!

Beautiful chairs and very comfortable once broken in but I just purchased 4 of them in May 2014 and one of the legs has already given in. Unfortunately, I will have to purchase another one to match the other three I already have but I would NOT recommend them unless you plan on replacing the legs!
