does this model include the charger and battery?

Yes, the BHFEA520J includes an internal battery and separate charger.

Is hte battery removable for charging on the bhfea520j 20 volt unit?

No the battery is not removeable.

Battery light been flashing since I plugged in 3hours ago. Is that's normal? This my first time using it

All 3 lights are on when fully charged. You will see it move down in lights as the battery wears. Did it come with a charge before you used it and this is first charge? If so, give it longer time. If not, it could just need a good charge from no use. Since it recognized it's getting a charge it just may need more time. I not charged aftee 24 hours I would consider it a bad unit. I have had mine for about 6 month and really like it but I have grabbed it after my husband had only plugged it in 2-3 hour before and it ran out of battery fast. It takes more than they say, in my opinion for a full charge.
