Will you kindly buy this book?!
I am a huge fan of the Bioshock games and when I heard about this book, I just had to get itRapture is the perfect companion for the first two Bioshock games and is a must for any fan. Via a number of characters, all of whom appear in the games somewhere, it takes the reader from the creation of Rapture to the discovery of ADAM and ends with the civil war erupting. Although this book could easily be read and enjoyed without having played the games, it does contain a number of explanations and nods to events, charcters and occurances that are hinted at in the games, which only a gamer will appreciate.I found that, when I played despite the darkness of the themes addressed in the game, I still fell in love with the setting and city of Rapture and this book has just fuelled that fondness.I chose Rapture, and so should you

This book is a prequel to the first Bioshock game. It explains how it was built and what went into the planning. It's nice to get a better angle on Andrew Ryan, instead of just seeing him in game and smashing his --- Oh wait! Spoiler alert! ---I'd recommend this to people who have played the games obviously, but its got a good enough style to interest other people :)

Great book
I have only read a dozen books in my short lifetime and I must say this one is high in the list of my favourite books. It fills in the blanks to the game (if you've played the first one) and still proves to be a fascinating book for those who haven't played the game as the idea of the story is intriguing. The language is easy to follow and the book is written very well as you can follow the story without haven't to think too hard. You get a good sense of knowledge for the characters and their personalities.Overall, this book is very impressive and I would read it again. Good job Titan! ****

Great book
A great book that really worked hard to capture the feel of the original Bioshock games. Whilst it's a little 'off' in places with continuity and what have you, it's still otherwise a very entertaining read.

A man chooses, a slave obeys
I am a big, big, big fan of the Bioshock series and it was very enjoyable immersing myself back into Rapture with this book. Definitely worth a read. great storytelling from John Shirley and some insight into characters we didn't get to hear a lot of back story from in the games.
