Santa Fe Ole Medium Roasted Green Chile 3 Pack

Good stuff!
I live in a part of the U.S. where good green chile is impossible to find in the stores. Thankfully, a friend recommended checking the 'Zon and here we are. Medium is pretty hot, but oh, so tasty! And let me tell you - these jars came so well packaged that even Ace Ventura couldn't have damaged them. A little ouchie on the pocketbook, but if you're like me and can't survive without green chile goodness, it's SO worth it!

The real real
Delish. Buy it.I miss NM so much and it's forced me to recreate an authentic People Verde. These made all the difference!

Reminds me of our time in New Mexico with the plane ticket price tag!
We went to Alburquere and fell in love with the green chile. Of course we live in South Carolina and don't have access to green chiles. This is the second type we have tried off amazon. This is by far our favorite. For medium, it has outstanding flavor, good heat, and great consistency. I love being able to see what's in my sauce, especially chunks of green chiles, which this one does! No other ingredients than what needs to be in there. I wanted a sauce, not a tomato salsa, which this one is. Satisfied! My husband wants the hottest one they have once we finish these 3 jars.

These are good chilis!
I really enjoyed these chilis but I wished I got hot because the medium is not very hot.

Tasted like pickled jalapeno with a hint of lime.
It was fast shipping and arrived intact. But the second ingredient listed is lime. Wow is that overpowering. I can not taste the chili almost at all, certainly not if it's fire roasted or not. It gave it almost a pickled taste, much like the canned versions. I would say save your money, just buy a can of it. I had a version in which garlic was the second most influential ingredient and it was amazing and I have been searching for it ever since. This is not that. It tastes like you bought cheap movie theater pickled jalapenos with a hint of lime.

Home in a Jar
If you're looking for Green Chile, you know what you are looking for. Great for New Mexico expatriates who can't get this stuff where they live, this brand of "home in a jar" is surprisingly fresh tasting, almost as good as frozen. Packaging and shipment time were top notch.

you won't regret biting this bullet
If you are addicted to roasted green chilies and don't live in or near New Mexico, then you pretty much have no choice but to buy this stuff. It stings a little bit in the pocketbook, but you pretty much forget about that once it hits your green chile hole. I've tried other brands, but this one takes my breakfast burritos to the next level.

simply the best
I've bought these twice now, and will certainly do so again. Fantastic in omelets with soft cheese, burritos, green rice, braised shrimp, salad dressings!! So much better than canned roasted chiles I doubt I'll ever buy them again. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
