It’s the same amount of product 🤦♀️
You’re not getting ripped off as many have suggested. I think they don’t remember how little there was in the 1970s but it lasted 3 summers. You need the tiniest amount of product to bronze your face. The 5 g is a little bit more product than a NARS blush, for example. It can’t be filled to the top. This is an absolutely beautiful bronzer! I am a 2 on the Fitzpatrick scale and it looks very, very natural on me and if you’re darker than that you just add a little more product. This will last years! As for the puff, I like it! If it’s freshly shaken to get it onto the cork stopper, I tap it into the puff and I’ll lightly apply it and then buffet in with a brush. If there’s still product on the cork the next time I use it then I just put my bronzer brush directly on the cork and use it. It really is a very natural tan, almost as though you’ve gotten just a little too much sun without the sun damage if I apply extra. I can wear little to no makeup with this bronzer whereas I need a full face with others. This has no texture. For reference, my favorite bronzers are this and the Bobbi brown bronzer in Natural. I’m fair/ light and I do tan and if I had to choose, I’d choose this one, no contest.

Very pleased when I took it out of its box
The powder is the color that I've known back in the '70's, and there's a LOT of it. Even with daily use, it should last me for a few years. I've read revues from people complaining that there was hardly anything in it, but since I can't see their specific pot, I cannot tell if there was indeed a goof-up at the manufacturers or if the customer didn't recognize what they were seeing. The powder isn't supposed to fill up the pot. There's supposed to be more pot than powder so that the powder can be shaken. With the cork securely placed in the pot, shake the pot upside down and then place it rightside up before taking the cork out. Be careful when taking the cork out that you don't let powder from the cork fall outside the pot. Gently knock the excess powder from the cork back into the pot and then using the cork as a palette, use a teeny bit of the powder on the puff (provided with the product) or with a cosmetic brush or q-tips such as for lips and apply it lightly to your skin and blend. It might take practice, but as a few reviewers said, a little goes a long way.UPDATE 4/4/2024 Purchased another Indian Earth. The product that the above description was purchased in 2019, and I still had not run out even though I use it almost every day. I purchased this second one so that I don 't run out of Indian Earth when the 2019 product is finally finished.

Indian Earth
I have been using this product since the 80's. This is the only and one makeup product that does it all. Cheeks, lips, nails and even shadow if you want. It is a natural blender. No fuss on what color to by It is a natural fit for any skin tone. at one time I could hardly find this product and then came Amazon and I have been buying it from them ever since. Try it you most likely will love. I must say it really works well on my darker toned sisters. I just started buying the product in a compact for traveling because the round jars do not work well traveling.

Extremely Disappointed
I just received this today and I am extremely Disappointed. The box that the jar was in seemed to have been opened. The cork wasn't sealed all the way and when I opened the jar there was hardly any product in the jar. I had purchased a different brand before Egyptian Earth and when I had received their product it was filled to the top. I was hoping that they're would be more product in the jar for the price that I paid. It seems like I was just paying for the jar and not the product. I also purchased the Indian Earth Papoose previously and there was hardly any product in the jar as well. I had hoped that they're was going to be more product in this order but I was wrong and extremely disappointed.

Love the effect!
I used to buy this years ago when they actually put a lot of product in the jar. Now it comes less than half full. I get why…they need to make money and it does last long but I thought that I got a defective jar at first! That being said this bronzing mineral powder is awesome! Looks like you have a suntan without being in the sun. My skin tone is fairly pale but I tan easily. Perfect for use all over your face and body. It takes a little practice to figure out how to manage the amount so you don’t look like you got attacked by something. I tried the cotton puff applicator and found I went the rest of the day feeling like I walked through a spider web from stray fibers left behind. Prefer to use a fluffy brush. Love love this product!! Wish they just fied the jar higher and charged more instead of a tiny bit…but as long as they continue to make it available I don’t mind. 😊

Not allot of product but a little goes a long way
This is the perfect bronzer for tan to dark skin!I get so many compliments when I wear it,I found out about it on TikTok and fell in love with the color it’s everything bronzer’s at the stores claim to be the issue is that many bronzer brands aren’t true to color unless you have pale skin where as this product is for the tanned plus girls, again it doesn’t appear to have a bunch of product in it but keep in mind you only use a little on what’s on the bottom of the the cap and that goes a long way,if you are tan or darker get it!!

Wow a very very little goes ALONG way.
I love it, I barely wear makeup, maybe mascara, blush that's it. I use the product only on the lid. With just that little amount did cheeks (too much),bronzer, eye shadow, tried lip lol but my lips are dry so it looked awful on my lip part. I had to really blend because I used a little too much. love thecolor can't wait to try on nails not even sure how to go about it

Good concept but…
No ingredients were listed. Product only came in 2 choices, very dark or very light color ( too dark and too light).
