A Good Introduction to the Needlessly Complex World of Getting Things Done
Easy to read, good definitions, and simple language make this book an adequate choice for those trying to enter management. There are a nice amount of buzz words so you can grab on to the lingo in your workplace. Read it from cover to cover and you'll know if you want to manage people or not, if you have the ability to recognize another's ability or if you're just a chump who should never inflict himself on anyone ever.

I was just promoted to Manager, and this book has been a very useful tool. It provides very easy to understand concepts and guides you on both basic and advanced managerial skills that you need to develop or improve in order to become a better manager. Almost every page that I read on it can be applied to my day to day activities as a manager. Managing for Dummies is a Manager's must have.

I bought this book as I was on a management course and needed something to assist me with my assignments. This book covered nearly every module and was ideal as reference material. It tells you just what you need without going on and on. I would definately recommend this book.
