Durable AirTag keychain without the fuss.
These things are great. No-frills keychain that securely holds the AirTag. I have been using Tile devices and while they were very helpful for someone who loses their keys on the regular, they added functionality that the AirTag provides with directional finding is great. That said, these keychains are a little thick, but not so much that it’s a problem. I think it does reduce the amount of sound that the AirTag can emit, but you can still hear it. Second generation AirTags might not have that same issue. It took a little work to open up the keychain to place the AirTag in it but once that was done, it was in good shape. Pretty easy to use. I’m confident in its ability to protect the AirTag from getting crushed or broken. This is my fourth purchase of an Elevation Lab AirTag holder so I’m very confident in the brand.

Well made and durable
These AirTag cases work well with Gen 1 and Gen 2 AirTags. They seal against the AirTag cover with a O-ring that needs to be set into a groove in the case - the O-ring just sits in a groove in the case so it's easy to lose or mis-install. Reading the instructions helps as it shows where the O-ring has to sit and shows how to open the case. Without reading the instructions, the case can be tough to open especially after installing an AirTag. (Wish I'd read the instructions FIRST....) These do not have a window to see the AirTag (if that's important to you). They muffle the AirTag by about 1/3 (to my ears).

Seems to be durable
I haven’t had the chance to test the durability or waterproofing of the TagVault yet, but it looks and feels very durable. I got the TagVault so that I could put an AirTag on the my boat’s keys that I seem to always lose or forget to bring with me to the lake. It’s an hour and a half drive from my house to the marina I store the boat at so if I forget the boat keys the day is pretty much ruined. Initially I was looking for an AirTag key chain case that was both waterproof and could float (yes I have dropped boat keys in the water). That search came up empty so I decided to just focus on finding one that was waterproof and adding a floatation device to the keychain. Pros: - Great protection. - Waterproof (haven’t tested other than running it under a faucet) - Sturdy construction. It’s screwed together with 4 screws. Cons: - Sound from the AirTag is muffled. I had my boat key AirTag in a backpack that was about 15’ away from me and couldn’t hear the sound from the AirTag. I tried it with my car key AirTag which is in a different case and had no issues hearing it. When my boat key AirTag was outside the backpack I could hear it while about 20’ from it. I don’t necessarily view this as a con for this specific product though. The AirTag’s sound is going to be muffled by any good case that is waterproof. I had zero issues using the on screen guidance (in the Find My app) to find my boat key AirTag with the TagVault on it. - While it’s nice that Elevation Labs includes a tool for the screws it’s as frustrating to use (if not more) than the tools Ikea provides with their furniture. I tried using it for all of 5 seconds before I threw it away and got out my own mini screw driver with a T6 bit attached. If I didn’t have my own screw driver I’m not sure I would have been able to reattach the screws without getting frustrated and throwing the TagVault away. Elevation should ditch the Allen wrench like design and just provide a normal mini T6 screwdriver or even just a T6 bit.

Would highly recommend for air tags, very protective, disguises the air tag
Really like these. Using them on my key chains and also family members using it too. Rugged is the word here, very rugged! Will not destroy the air tag but also most would not know what it is. So that is good too.

Get what you pay for.
Mine came with a scratch mark. Please fix your QC issues. Other than that it works pretty well.

A great AirTag holder for your keychain
This is my review of the TagVault keychain for Apple AirTags. I just bought the 4-pack to replace some toolless AirTag keychain holders that are exposed on both sides. My issue with those was that the cover popped off the AirTag itself and I didn't notice (fortunately a friend did). Anyway I decided to give these a try and just through the process of installing them, I'm quite pleased (for the grand total of one hour I've had them so far). They seem to be solidly built. The AirTag only fits in them one way, so it's snug once the case is assembled. There are 4 torx bit screws for each holder, and the kit comes with the right size allen key. The screws had some blue thread lock compound on them too. There is a nice looking gasket that probably makes them at least somewhat water resistant. I don't feel like testing their water proof claim, so I can't say anything about that. They come with a small ring, but it's too small to attach more than a house key to, so I removed it and used my regular keyring instead. And they're cost effective, especially in the 4 pack! My only suggestion would be to include an extra screw in the package. These things are tiny for my large hands, and it would be very easy to lose one. Bottom line, I bought these so that I wouldn't lose the plastic cover off my AirTags, and they do the job on that front.

Well designed
After looking at dozens of designs and more expensive air tag holders for pets on the Internet, this is the one I chose to attach to a dog collar. The holder will be attached to a large doberman's collar and needed to be heavy duty. I like the sturdiness, compact size, and waterproof/ o-ring feature of the holder. The type screws used to screw the two halves together, in my opinion, makes the holder more tamper resistant, assuming someone other than family could get near this dog. The screw attachment tool came with the holder. The holder appears to be well designed and constructed. I like the wide attachment point on the holder. It should provide a larger area to absorb normal ware and tear and not wear out prematurely like the small hole on a standard aluminum ID dog tag or rabies tag from the vet office. There is no way the air tag itself can become detached from this holder under normal situations. The small stainless steel attachment ring that came with the holder needed to be a little more heavy duty and a little larger in diameter to loosely attach to this dog's heavy duty collar, but I had already had a larger attachment ring of the same design. I like the attachment ring design though. You have to spread the ring to attach it to the dog collar instead of just clipping it on. This ring design is more secure than a clip-on ring which could become accidentally detached from the dog collar. I do not yet know if the detection range of the air tag will be reduced by the holder's complete enclosure design. Shipping was very fast. I got the product in a couple of days.

Works well
Attached to dogs collar. They run in mud and rain. Air tags still work.

Good protection
I’ve had one on my house keys for 4 months and it shows no signs of wear at all, nor have the screws come loose (I do check them every so often). I’ve just received another 4 of these for the rest of our AirTags. They’re lightweight and seem pretty tough, if not very elegant, plus the tags can’t get scratched or fall out. Yes, the sound is slightly reduced but I knew that from reading previous reviews. Shipping from the US to UK fast and efficient, this latest order arrived in 5 days!

Awesome water tightness
This is exactly like what the product manufacturer is stating. It’s water tight, robust and compact. I used it ruggedly and still it barely had a scratch. Highly recommend to buy. And i hardly said such remarks. Buy it and you will not regret.

Bulky and Broke After 1.5 Years, But Served Its Purpose Initially
The TagVault Keychain for AirTags is functional in protecting the tag from water and everyday wear, and it did help me keep track of my keys without issues for the first year or so. However, it’s much bulkier than expected—definitely adds noticeable size to your keychain, which can feel cumbersome. Aesthetically, it’s not the most appealing; the design looks a bit clunky and unattractive compared to sleeker options out there. The real downside came after about 18 months when it cracked and broke right at the screw areas. It seems like the screws are the weakest point, possibly too small or not durable enough for long-term use. For the price, I expected better longevity. Overall, it’s okay for short-term needs but not ideal if you’re looking for something slim, stylish, and built to last.
