McFarlane Toys - DC Multiverse Martian Manhunter 7" Action Figure with Accessories

I love the Martian Manhunter as a character in general, and I collect a lot of action figures. Mostly all my figures are made by McFarlane. Although there is competitors that make arguably better figures, for the price point there is NOTHING EVEN CLOSE to comparable to McFarlane when it comes to DC Comics figures. Not even close. Companies like MAFEX make great figures but they cost as much as 4-6 of McFarlanes figures just to Buy ONE SINGLE FIGURE from them. So comparing them is like apples to oranges price wise. This is a great MMH figure all around, I was very happy to hear they were releasing it, and I ordered it right away. I also have the Gold Label MMH on pre-order from Target. Because he is awesome looking too. MToys For Life!

I was really happy with this figure. I am pretty tough on McFarlane but this one I instantly was happy with. Looks fantastic if you want a modern/rebirth Martian Manhunter. I’ve added a comparison picture next to a DCUC version as well as a DC Collectibles New 52 version so you can see how tall he stands. I love the body mold and size and the sculpt on him is excellent. Great figure! Especially for McFarlane.

I’ve been looking for this figure locally for some time, but haven’t had any luck. Therefore I decided to take a gamble and order it via Amazon. Prior purchases of action figures thru Amazon have resulted in poor paint jobs, damaged packaging, or the wrong figure (I’d swear it was a black-market Scooby Doo) arriving at my doorstep. Thankfully this time the figure arrived in near mint condition and ahead of schedule. Definitely worth the price. The figure itself: Great. The packaging: Fine condition. The shipping container: Solid and durable. Overall review: A product that any collector would be proud to receive. Thanks Amazon.

Very good reproduction of this version of The Martian Man Hunter. Color and accessories ate on point.

This Mcfarlane Martian Manhunter is very well detailed in design and the soft plastic purple cape is really nice. What really got me is the way they sculpted the head, there is a natural shadow that falls over the eyes which creates the illusion of his red eyes glowing. If you are trying to build a Justice League from Mcfarlane this is pretty good. Cons: He comes with no accessories. The flight stand in the photo is from another figure. He also has a gripping hand which can be good if you had something to put in it, but it would have been nice to have a set of interchangeable hands. Overall great figure for the price, just wish it had an extra something in the box like the other Multiverse figures.
