Hagen Living World Cuttlebone White Twinpack - Small

I received this product and one part of it was broken because of the metal clip on it. Still my birds love it so I can recommend this product.

It arrived broken in pieces . One is turning yellow and the metal is rusted.

+ there's two + my birds bite it sometimes - it started oxidizing and getting yellowish (ok maybe that's normal?) - in a month it started rusting at the point where the metal connects to the stone which is weird, it wasn't even exposed to water I don't remember this ⬆️ happening to the cuttlebone I bought before in my country, just thought it's weird

At least one of these always arrives broken which makes it hard to mount onto the bird cage.

My birds using it daily, easy to place in cage with metal holders provided.

These were not cracked or crumbled. The hangers were well placed. These are small for finches or parakeets - a bigger bird would shred it in a few days. These cuttle bones were in a blister pack on cardboard, and were shipped in a box with tight air cushions, which helped them arrive in one piece. They were NOT fishy smelling, and were clean (not old overstock) and seemed to be new. These are worth the purchase.

I actually bought these for my aquarium to help build calcium in the aquatic environment. I keep aquatic snails and they need a lot of calcium in order for their shells to grow and be healthy. They loooove these. Obviously I'm using them in a different way then intended, but they are great quality!
