This product is ok for the price. The camera resolution is 640 x 480 and the monitor resolution is 800 x 480. I like the size and style of the camera. The monitor looks more like a plasma screen as if you are not directly in front of the monitor the image is washed out. Only thing that is adjustable with regards to the image is the brightness and it come as dark as it can get. You are also adjusting brightness level blindly as there is no image to gauge. The button used most taxing. The enter key is seated inside the narrow arrow keys making it difficult to maneuver. I have to use my fingernail to press arrow keys. Like that is has a battery so if I need to walk around with the monitor I can.Update: This unit is very color inaccurate. The images are purple. I requested a returned the was initially granted by seller thru Amazon but received a email from the seller informing me that I needed to send them images so they can confirm color inaccuracy. Once determined I was to be sent a return label. Have have not received any return label from the company. The return label and instructions granted by the seller and issued thru Amazon reads that I can return the item via carrier of my choice. I received an email from the company stating otherwise. They say it HAS to be shipped via USPS ONLY....no other method. This is to be returned to a P.O. Box which will cost about $40 via USPS. At this point the seller is not cooperative. I am pretty much forced to keep this super less than sufficient unit for fear of me shelling out the money to ship it back and not receive a refund. Highly disappointed! Beware if this seller!
