Judith Stiles Designs Yarn Bowl, Turquoise

I'd thought about getting a yarn bowl for a while, and I'm glad I waited until I saw this one. The glaze is perfectly smooth--no snagging whatsoever. It's deep enough for the ball of yarn not to jump the side and run away while I'm stitching, which did happen on occasion when I worked from an ordinary kitchen bowl. Of course the cut-out yarn guide helps with that, too. But more than anything else, I love that this practical, useful item is in itself a work of art. The colors are stunning and elegant. I'm a bit of a neat-freak, but I have no qualms about just leaving the bowl sitting on my coffee table or counter when I'm not actively stitching. Having this handsome piece sitting there is anything but "messy."

My first yarn bowl. I shopped for months and looked at a lot of yarn bowls before deciding to purchase this one. The entire bowl has a smooth finish, my yarn does not snag, and it is so beautiful I leave it sitting on my table as a wonderful decorative accent.

I love the bowl! No longer chasing my yarn across the floor, or worse ball drops gets stuck on my ankle and I am re wrapping a ball of yarn. It is not only useful but is is beautiful!,,, when you touch it it even has a beautiful ring to it.

Good bowl. Rather lacking in personality. May have been cast rather than thrown. Particularly offensive having it arrive with a price sticker on it of $12 when I paid over $30. Tacky!

This bowl is a work of art, and useful too! Also, the seller has a sense of humor! She jokingly enclosed return instructions - as if anyone ever would want to part with this beautiful bowl after they had received, and beheld it. I couldn't be happier with such a purchase!

After seeing my family members using a yarn bowl, I decided I needed one too. I wasn't sure where to begin looking & then this one caught my eye. It is very cute & well made & I am very happy with it!

Kind of small but the bowl is beautiful. Will take a small ball of yarn.

There were some cracks in the glaze and a spot where there was no glaze so it left a rough spot in the opening where the yarn comes out. The color is more orange and brown than yellow.
