iPhone 12/12 Pro Case [Flex Series] Exposed Sides for Comfort, Aramid Fiber, Strong MagSafe Compatible, Protective Raised Corners, Slim Fit Frameless Cover 6.1 Inch Phone 2020 (Flex Black)

I purchased this case for the main purpose of holding my phone to the Lisen Cooling MagSafe Charger Vent Car Mount. My original Apple OEM Clear MagSafe case wasn’t cutting it and falling off when I drove over bumps. This Case solved that problem and more. First off, the case is very nicely made. The inner layer is a nice touch of quality material cradling your phone. The outside is rather plain but sleek. The Carbon Fiber back is very nice to the touch. The edges are almost flush to the phone and the corners are raiser for protection. The back of the case is about 1.5-2mm thick off the back of the phone protecting the camera completely. The buttons are molded in, raised considerably for easy use, and have small slits on each side of the buttons to made pressing the buttons easy. Here’s the Main Event, the MagSafe Ring and Bar. So the claim is that the case is 30% stronger than Apple’s OEM MagSafe Cases; and, I can contest that this small magnetic strength increase is true and 100% noticeably better. So my MagSafe car mount in my very bumpy and rough riding car seemed to be too weak. I was about to return it; but, this case proved to be all I needed for the fix. Using the Apple OEM MagSafe clear case the phone would fly off and also rotate the phone while driving. The Rebel 2 Case solved both problems with stronger magnets and the case material both stopping the phone dismounting and rotating. Here’s the added bonus to purchasing this case. You get an included Screen Protector! It only comes with an alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth and a sticky dust remover; but, it’s still a bonus. The screen protector is on the cheaper side and the edges do have a light white glow to them, but it does go almost edge to edge to the case. I recommend looking up how people install screen protectors using tape when not having a installer device or frame; which, was very useful for me. I got a single piece of dust when installing and peeled up the side to try to get it out. It proved to be worse when I did this. Nevertheless, it was included. Cheap screen protectors are around $20 and up to $45 for the best ones; but, this one was just a bonus. My previous protect was already cracked on the edges, micro scratched everywhere, and slightly yellowed that I only notice after I removed it. My final thoughts are that this case is a 10/10 and I would recommend and buy again. I hope this help someone out there.

This case is absolutely awesome. At first I was hesitant to buy it, but after watching the Youtube video where they drop test it from 50 ft with no damage I was sold. My first impression after unpacking the case was that it has a rock solid construction and the materials are top notch. A little on the heavy side, but nothing extraordinary. Feels wonderful in the hand and it gives you a sense of security like no other. You have to exert a little extra pressure to insert your phone into the case, but once inside you know it’s going to stay there for good. Your phone turns almost bulletproof, and the case adds minimal bulk to your phone. Daily use of the case is great too. It easily slips in and out of your pockets and it barely collects any dust or grime. Stays in shape just like new. As far as protection is concerned, I haven’t dropped my phone yet but while I was brisk walking with the phone in my hand I accidentally bumped it really hard against the edge of a wall with no damage to either the phone or the case. The investment paid off. The only thing that maybe you have to be careful with this case is to take it off when you are on FaceTime or Waze on a sunny day, because the phone might get a little warm. The case is so protective that there is not so much space for heat to dissipate, but that is a fair trade in. I cannot recommend this case enough. My favorite brand from now on.

First off the durablity and protection is very impressive,it may not look it but it is very strong.Ive only dropped it once on stone stairs,you wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s been dropped other then a very minimal mark on the edge.The magnets are just as strong as advertised if not stronger.I’ve noticed only one con to this case.Heat,im not sure why but heat is this cases main and only problem,without a case it works better but with this,any form at all of external heat or anything like that will really mess with charging.Its an amazing case and definitely worth the price.Just don’t buy it if you live in a very hot place,or if you don’t really care about charging throughout the day,(with MagSafe),then this case is perfect for you and you won’t find anything better.

Update to 5 stars - my kids basically launched my phone across the room while playing on accident. The phone traveled around 15 feet, hit two walls, and landed facedown on hardwood floor. Case saved my iPhone 12 Pro. Best case for the money. There are so many reviews of cases based on the first impression. I feel there needs to be some usage before leaving a review. First off, this is a nice case. It’s extremely similar to the Mous case in how it feels and looks. This one is just slightly more slick feeling. As for protection, it does as advertised. I’ve dropped my phone from a verity of heights multiple times. It has fully protected the device every time. The worse drop was from about 6ft on concrete. Phone was 100% ok. There are two things that make me hesitant on 5 stars. One, the flat edges out side of the claw like corners. It does make the usability go up so it could be an OK trade off. Two, I have dry hands, the case does tend to feel slick on the sides. But I’ve found that most iPhone cases are the same outside of the Dbrand grip case. Overall, this is a nice case. The MageSafe is excellent, protection is good, and looks good. Great case based on the price point vs other cases similar.

I hate this case. This is the second one I bought. The first one was fine. It fell apart after a year, so got another one. The new case is terrible. The cut out for the charging cable is not right. The phone continuously disconnects from the cable. Tried multiple cables, same result. Never had this happen with any other case.

Tested a few cases and this one checks all the boxes. Premium materials, seemless construction, tight fit, tactile buttons, ample camera protection and tested for extreme drops. Every aspect was clearly thought out and engineered to be functional such as the recessed lip around the screen for easy swiping, beefed up corners along with the raised corner edges that keep the front and rear from making contact when placed on flat surfaces. My only critiques are to have slightly more grip but I’m torn because the material used feels so good in the hand albeit almost too smooth. Hasn’t caused me to drop it though. Maybe some gentle stippling on the Gen3 would solve the matter. Also the rear aramid is hard to explain in terms of texture but it durable, smooth, almost velvety and really nice. It attracts oils which is easy to wipe away and does a good job with scratch resistance. Only small marks I’ve seen that didn’t wipe away were caused by my magesafe charger. I guess my gripe isn’t with the aramid but with the MagSafe system and the damage it seems to cause all cases. 4.75/5 - My daily driver until the Gen3 is released or another company steps up to the plate. E.A.P got this case right and I really would not change much if anything!! Oh and the included FloLab screen protector is among the best tested protectors available. They retail for like 20-30 alone.

Even though this case is expensive, it actually feels like you get what you’re paying for. The build quality is excellent and doesn’t feel cheap it all. It fits very securely and feels rugged while not being overly bulky. Contrary to what some reviewers mentioned, i think this case is grippy enough. The sides feel like they’re made of solid matte black TPU, which is perfect. It’s grippy enough but not so sticky to the point it attracts lint or pulls your whole pocket out. The aramid fibre back is also surprisingly grippy. It is textured and feels just a little rubbery but hard at the same time. However, it does leave grease stains quite easily, which is easily removed by a microfibre cloth. The buttons feel sufficiently clicky considering they ain’t metal buttons, which i don’t like as my previous case with metal buttons scratched the phone buttons itself. Magsafe also feels a lot stronger than without a case, and it stay on securely, aided by both the strong magnets and the grippy back. This case does feel a little thick and heavy though. But the shaved sides makes it feel slightly better as the sides where you hold you phone and swipe are lowered, but still high enough to be slightly raised from a tempered glass screen protector i have on. Only the corners are raised more aggressively which is sufficient for drop protection. (see 5th image) I didn’t use the bundled screen protector though, as it didn’t protect the notch area. Overall, this is a good buy at $65 SGD, but it would be nice if it was slightly cheaper.
