CHEAPLY MADE
These will be great if you are doing your friends and family at home as an amateur. I’m a professional and I was excited to see a pair of Jaguar shears at this price point. I needed a quick fix because my regular shears no longer stay sharpened. I know I need to invest a good amount of money in a set of shares and until I figure out what pair I want to purchase this looks like a good stopgap. Unfortunately when I took them out of the package, although they felt good in my hands, I opened and closed the shears. I could see a huge gap between the blades near the handles. There was a crunching and the blades rubbed together near the tip of the shears. I purchased a cheap pair of shears years ago that did the same thing. The man who sharpens my shears said it’s some thing that you can’t fix. I returned them immediately and I will just save for a decent pair of professional shears. I guess you get what you pay for even if they have the Jaguar name on them
