This product is very straightforward. It turns the fresh water in my hot tub to salt water which then gets processed through the ozone system to keep it fresh and sanitized. What I love most is the low price offered by Hot Tub Things which is easily 50% less than what I have to pay for this product at local hot tub /pool supply stores.

Seems to work fine. Sodium bromide is sodium bromide. The bad part is that I have decided to change to a chlorine sanitizer regimen in my hot tub, so this, and also a lot of expensive bromine tabs for the floater, are going to waste.

Same bromine you will buy at a pool and spa store but will be a one pound container for the same price as this two pound bottle.

Needed to add a lot to fill the bromine reserve. Contents were mostly hard, potentially exposed to moisture during packaging.

Didn't know we needed this when we purchased a used hot tub from someone so we were glad we were able to get it in quickly. Followed the instructions on the package and had no issues!
