Cool book
My only complaint is that Keri Smiths books are too much the same, I have five of her books, other then that its cool, it has activities for you to do and are fun too look back on. I would really recommend wreck this journal and for younger kids tear this book. I have literally got my creativity from that book, (tear this book) I have been making books of my own and scrapbooking. I remember this book from nearly ten years ago. That book has literally changed my life! I remember buying it in an airport and falling in love with it, Now I am going to buy that book for my sister who is just like me. Tear this book for kids who love creativity or just want to learn to be creative

It is never too late!
I love, love, love this little book! It offers a great reminder that you are never too old to be young. Smith offers playful activities to encourage the reader to jump into life and play! Though I have not done them all, and there are some that I won't do simply because I don't connect with them, the activities are a springboard to fuel your own personal creativity. I like the short, simple vignettes and the playful nature in which she writes. It is not "preachy" or heavy in any way. I purchased 2 others (Wreck This Journal and How to Be an Explorer of the World) by Smith for my daughters (teens.) They love their books as well. Some days, we all bring out our respective "journal" and just have fun! Treat yourself to a walk on the "child side!"

Creativity is fun
I bought this book on a whim one day because I was getting more and more anxious about my recent lack of creativity. I work as a graphic designer which meant being creative kept food on the table. I was so excited for this book to arrive in the mail and once it turned up I was not disappointed. I devoured the book in 2 sittings but was left looking forward to reading it again! I smiled at all her ideas and I can't wait to give them ago. I noticed I had a reknewed enthusiasm for work too after the first night reading - she has helped me realise creativity is fun...not just a way to earn money! Highly recommend this book to anyone looking to add a little more fun and confidence back into their lives.

Very whimsical
There are a few projects I like in this book. However I found it to be very naive and too whimsical for my liking.

Love it!
These are the best and most unique presents to give as gifts. Perfect for any age but definitely for that hard to find tween. The kids will actually get off their devices and use these books. Love her entire series of books.

It's nice but not a must have
I like the size of this book, its small enough to throw in my bag and take with me to the park and write in. but i am not too enthused with the layout or design as its a little boring on the design side. and the art isn't all that great. but it does have some fun projects in it. Its not so much a book about how to create or do art projects but more about different things you can do around your house to make it more creative, or things to do with friends to be creative together. Its just so-so as far as creative books go.

Amazing with minor Problems
The book is a very good book. Recommended to anyone who needs a little guidance in life or someone who just wants to delve into something new.Reason for 4/5:The problem was the book binding was a little torn in the back and the top of the pages was smudged with black marker. The front also had a stripe of black. Everything else is perfect

Living Out Loud
This is a very inspiring book. I keep in my night stand and I re-read parts of it when I want to create; my medium is paper crafts. It helps me to get going and not be so afraid to make a mistake. Just enjoy the freedom and the process, and flush out those judgemental, critical demons in my brain that hold me hostage. This is a fun, whimsical book, yet it asks deep questions and really gets me to examine what is holding me back.

Some good ideas, but not really my thing
The book is set out in a fun way, with postcards and some fun creative ideas. It is spiral bound, with some perforated activity/postcard pages so that they can be easily torn out and used. The presentation is nice, in terms of layout and colour. However, quite a lot of the book included New Age influences, which wasn't very relevant/interesting to me and might not be for others, so I thought I would mention it, so that future buyers are aware and can make their own choice.

A perfect gift.
Excellent gift for people you know who might benefit from a little support and stimulation to some things different from the daily routine. It opens out a lot of possibilities and abilities.

Lovely book
Nicely made but would be cool if it was more gender neutral.
