King Richard (DVD)

It was very nice to see the family dynamics of the Williams' family. The film was insightful as well as interesting. Very happy to see the film truly capture the family in a positive light.

I'm always looking for movies based on true stories. This was so good!! I recommend it for the whole family.

This is a 4K upscale, meaning that it does not come from a native 4K or higher source. That's too bad, especially since this is an Oscar Best Picture nominated film. Worse, this release doesn't support HDR10+ or Dolby Vision, just HDR10. On the audio side, it comes with Dolby Atmos track (but so does the regular and much cheaper 1080p Blu-ray version).

I enjoyed true storys

The father was hung up on someone being racist against him because he was Black. That was definitely a turn off and ruin the movie to a degree. The most important thing about the movie was the success of the two girls. How they never gave up and they worked hard everyday. The mother was a wonderful woman. She stood by her husband even though she was ready to pack up and leave him. The father definitely had some issues. But it seems that all the children and the wife turned out great.
