Pavesini Cookies 7 Ounce

Not all grocery stores carry these cookies so Amazon was perfect to have them delivered for a recipe. Other cookies could have been used but these taste the best.

This brand is excellent for making Tiramisu, much more authentic than the thick ladyfinger choices you find in most American grocery stores. I took a cooking class in Rome and this was the exact brand that they used. Highly recommend and love that it is packaged in several smaller packs so the leftovers stay fresh.

These cookies are light and sweet. Melt in your mouth. I also had them with a bowl of ice cream. Delicious!!

This particular cookie was recommended to us for tiramisu while we were in Italy. It didn't disappoint. The cookies were fresh and good in our tiramisu. We will buy this again.

One summer while we were staying at a house in Italy our housekeeper gave me this recipe for the best tirmisu ever. She warned me, however, that you needed to use Pavesini biscotti--no substitutes! I was unable to locate them at any of stores that carry imported items. I thought that trying to track them down through Amazon was a long shot but I should have had more faith. I located the cookies, placed the order and within the week had received the package.

Perfect for Tiramisu!

These were a few months past the expiration date. They tasted okay, a little stale. I was able to eat them but I was disappointed. I won’t be ordering them again.
