Really need a copy of the original antenna, which I stupidly discarded when it was chopped off by a vacuum cleaner.
This gadget has a male connector, and my radio receiver has what must be called a male socket to accommodate it. They don't mate well at all, but by jamming them together and fiddling with the connection now and then, I'm able to pick up a number of local stations some of the time.

A nice change from the dipole.
It is much better than the dipole I used previously in my opinion. It is easier to manage in searching for signals. and less difficult to secure . Sctch tape works to place it.

Works above my expectations. Now I don't have to run a coax cable on or above my floor. This antenna is much more discrete and is not so evident.
