Low traffic access perfect.
Had to bust a hole to access my clean out that i chose to drywall over years ago haha used some gorilla contractor glue and installed this bad boy and it looks good. Almost like I didnt have a plumbing emergency. ๐ซฃ is it the best quality? Probably not... but will the door open and close when you need to get in there yes. Would i use it for high traffic opening and closing. No... but for a stack clean out it works. Now if someone had to stick a snake in the clean out again I feel it would probably destroy the plastic so hopefully thats the last of my plumbing issues.

More plastic trash
I have a hole in the drywall of my closet from a dog who decided to chew through the wall. The hole happens to be right behind my shower, below where the plumbing access panel is. After having two plumbing leaks that caused water to come out from under the wall over the 18 yrs we've owned our home, I decided to square up the edges of the chewed hole and treat it like a second access hole. It's a perfect spot to get air into the wall if there's ever another leak and it needs to be dried out. The first negative about this access panel is my fault for not noticing and I wouldn't have removed stars for it. I didn't notice that the panel had a "lip" on the back so it needs to be in-set. Since the frame has to be glued to the wall I expected the back to be flat, meaning the hole didn't need to be exactly square or the exact measurements of the panel. The hole in my wall is 6"x7". I patched the tooth marks around the edge of the hole using fiberglass drywall tape so it's going to be difficult and messy trying to enlarge the hole to 8"x8" so this can be inserted into the hole. I would have returned it had I noticed that issue before the package got opened. Unfortunately it ships in a thin plastic wrapper and a family member opened the package before I saw it. Now for the part that removes the stars. The hinge is very stiff and pops out of position when you try to open the door. Once you open it, you have to wiggle and press it to get the hinges back where they're supposed to be. The difficult hinges (plastic nubs basically) aren't the only difficult part. When the door is "latched", you have to pry it back open. There are thin notches in the latch side and you'll need to stick something like a flathead screwdriver to pry the door open. Since this attaches to the wall with some sort of adhesive, I suspect it would rip off the wall fairly easily. That's assuming you've been able to find an adhesive that will stick to this type of plastic. Hard, molded plastic is generally quite difficult to glue. My original plan was to use wood to frame around the hole and then make a small door from wood. I happened to see this access panel door and thought this would make the project much easier. It looks like I was wrong. At least it wasn't too expensive so I didn't waste too much money. Would I recommend this product to anyone? Absolutely not.
