BOSCH PS11-102 12V Max 3/8 In. Right Angle Drill/Driver Bare Tool

Good feel, balanced, and I appreciate the head can rotate for different approaches to drilling/screwing in tight spaces. The trigger seemed a bit sticky but I’m guessing it will wear and return to normal after a bit of use.

This is actually a replacement for the identical tool I’ve had for over 20 years that finally wore out. It’s a bit heavier than the current models so your arm gets tired easier. But, it’s very powerful and it works well. The batteries last a long time.

I’m a woodturner, i make wooden bowls on a lathe. Sanding the interior of deep bowls is an awkward task, but this Bosch tool gets down in there and adjusts to 90 degrees for the inner walls of the bowl. Only surprise when it came was how heavy it is. The battery is small (not provided, I already had Bosch tool batteries) so they are not really adding to the tool’s gross weight. Fortunately I am a strong person and the weight is no much of an issue. I like the tool.

This drill worked fine with regular drill bits but unable to power auger bits through wood. Smooth variable speed control. Forward and reverse switch conveniently located. A bit heavy but that probably a result of a quality heavy duty drill. I like it.

I was trying to replace the discontinued iDriver. This is the exact same style but a little longer and heavier. I use it as an electric (screw) driver and it is really great. Being a little heavier (and longer) is a slight annoyance. All in all a very good tool. I keep it in my tool bag always.

Super bulky, heavier than the 12max drill it definitely fatigues the wrist earlier on the multi position clutch doesn’t stay locked into place safely. Love the idea but needs to be a lot more compact and just a tad bit lighter… Otherwise Bosch tools are amazing specially the 12V Max serious takes care of everything I need on my Liveaboard boat and when I’m on tour as a stage manager and band technician.

One review I saw of this product said it would lock in all positions except the straight one. Mine locks in all the positions. It also included a Bosch zipper case with plenty of room for other stuff. I didn't expect that or see it in the listing. I won't be using the case for this drill but I am sure I will find some use for the case.

Vamos por partes. No incluye baterías para los descuidados que pueden llegar a creer que sí. Mi recomendación si eres de México es comprarlo así como lo venden aquí y conseguir el paquete de pila con cargador en algún lugar que vendan artículos de la marca, pues es más probable que lo consigas más rápido y barato, al final esas baterías son más comunes. En cuanto a la forma en como funciona tiene la pluralidad de funcionar como taladro o como atornillador, pues incluye en las puntas en cruz y plana para tornillos, para las brocas tendrás que conseguirlas de un tamaño adecuado para el tamaño del taladro y lo que necesites hacer. La potencia es la necesaria para taladrar cosas pequeñas y en espacios reducidos como para lo que se suele necesitar. Es cierto que la batería de 12V puede generar ciertas dudas, pero su potencia es buena de igual forma aunque también hay que tener razonamiento sobre lo que vamos a taladrar. Me gusto todo pues es bastante práctico y útil, fácil de usar, aunque no lo pude poner en 180º; de igual manera solo se necesitó en 90. Recomiendo tener mucho cuidado cuando ya tenga la batería puesta y cargada, sobre todo con menores o personas que no sean capaces de maniobrar la herramienta, puesto que una vez la pila esta dentro y esta cargada al momento de agarrarlo por naturaleza puedes presionar la palanca con la que se acciona, por lo que hay que tener cuidado y siempre procurar tener la pila fuera del taladro cuando no se este utilizando.

However the straight ahead top position does not lock in place unlike the othe position. The rest of performance is ok.
