As always Seekins delivers. Their products are well engineered and well machined. The fit and finish is spot on. Additionally what I did not realize was that they actually machine lugs in the base that interface with the M1913 rail instead of using long screws/bolts. These lugs are machined to a pretty tight tolerance such that they slot into position and the mount will not move. The clamps on the side of the mount basically just have to hold the lugs against the rail. Works well. Additionally for his apparent heft its not horribly heavy, they took the time to machine out any excess material. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good mount for an AR platform.

Good Mount
Used this to mount a Nightforce ATACR 7-35x56 scope on a Tikka T3x Tac A1. Seekins quality is on par with the Warne, Talley, and Nightforce rings I’ve used in the past.

Out of Spec
I didn't think twice when I ordered this 34 mm cantilever scope from Seekins. I've used Seekins products alot in the past few years and have never had an issue....until now. There isn't much to say other then being out of spec. I installed several times but after tightening down there was significant play. The mount should be solid and sadly this just wouldn't lock down. The next day I took the mount to a local gun store. They had just received a shipment of the same mount. The owner took it and tried one of his and had the same result. The owner couldn't believe it so we tried the 2 mounts on another rail. Both mounts wouldn't lock down on a different rail. We tried a 2nd mount from his inventory and it worked.I still like Seekins Precision and believe they make quality parts. I think they just had a bad batch of mounts go out.
