Very good product
This was the perfect match to the one being replaced and the instructions made it a very easy project.

Battery
Battery was good but the phone i had developed a problem in the port. Wouldnt charge properly . No longer have the phone. Now have Samsung galaxy. Much better quality than stylo lg.

Plagiarized instructions and defective adhesive
The instructions are a poorly abridged version of the iFixit instructions, complete with their pictures showing their proprietary tools. I could've looked past that but my adhesive is straight up missing a corner which I know will severely compromise my phone's water resistance if I was to use it as is. This coupled with the passive aggressive note on the box asking that it not be returned open and the difficulty of dealing with lithium batteries means I now have a $20 box of hazardous waste. Very cool product and magical quality control

Rather easier to do than I expected
Everything was fine. I had no trouble getting the back off because the swollen battery did most of the work. My only trouble was that only 2 of the 3 glue tabs came off; the third broke. Getting the battery out was difficult. So... be careful with the glue tabs so they don't break.

Doable but you likely have to improvise
All in all, I got the old battery out and new battery in but it wasn't always clear which tools to use and one of them had little pieces break off while prying out the battery. There is also extra sticky things that I didn't know what to do with.Anyway, the new battery is in and is charging well. Hopefully the battery can hold better charge in my old one.

Might work--but might not, if your phone is refurbished etc
So my wife's Pixel 5 battery was in its death throes...went from 100% to zero charge in under an hour of normal use. I figured I'd try to replace it myself, and bought this kit.It went well enough (although instructions relating to using adhesive when rebuilding were missing--but they are shown in the Amazon page description) right up until the step of actually removing the battery. That did not work, at all. Nor did youtube videos help. I ended up destroying peripheral components trying to pull that sucker out. No go.This was a refurbished phone. My working hypothesis is that when the battery was replaced the last time, someone used a whole lot of adhesive, far more than was necessary. IAC it was $20 and two hours wasted, unless you count the lessons learned, which I guess is something.
