Question 1

The product title says vegan, yet this says it is derived from cattle. Can someone please clarify this?

Accepted Answer

Hi, Melissa,Good catch! Apparently the images are reverting back to an older version of the product, so I'll get those - and the description - corrected as soon as possible. In the meantime, here are some answers for you: To clarify, our Living Calcium Advanced is labelled as Vegetarian but not Vegan, as the probiotics which were used to ferment some of the nutrients use dairy as the culture medium. While the Calcium used to be derived from MCHA (bones of cattle), we changed the Calcium source to whole food plant-sourced Calcium from Algae. (The packaging should state that it is "free from crushed rock, limestone, chalk and animal bones.") If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly (email address below) or check out this product on our website: https://www.gardenoflife.com/living-calcium-advanced-bone-density-formula-120-caplets-658010112635. Question 2

Seller, where are these sourced and manufactured?

Accepted Answer

Living Calcium is made in the U.S.A.

Based on the large number of ingredients that we use in our products, it is very difficult to specify which country each ingredient was grown. This is also difficult because for one batch the ingredient may be obtained from one country, but another batch may be obtained from another country based on availability, and most importantly that our specific requirements for that ingredient are met.

The safety and efficacy of our products are of the utmost concern. All raw materials have strict specifications and their Certificates of Analysis are kept on record, and we test all finished products for heavy metals, microbial growth and pathogenic species such as E. coli and Salmonella.

I hope this helps.

Question 3

Seller, can you let me why the title still says vegan? Is it really vegan? Not according to the producer's website.

Accepted Answer

Living Calcium is labeled as vegetarian. The product description was inaccurate and has now been corrected, good catch!

Question 4

It lists the vitamins but what are the ingredients that give those vitamins?

Accepted Answer

Hello! Living Calcium Advanced is made with easy-to-digest, whole food plant-sourced Calcium from algae that is free from crushed rock, limestone, chalk and animal bones. The Vitamin K complex (including Vitamin K2) is derived from natto (fermented soybeans), and selected ingredients in Living Calcium Advanced are produced through Garden of Lifeâs proprietary Poten-Zyme fermentation process. Living Nutrients, such as those in our Living Calcium Advanced, are better for your body because they are more like food than isolated vitamins, but with guaranteed potency in a whole food source. They contain bioactive components that the body recognizes. I hope this helps, Michael. Thanks, Noelle K. Garden of Life
