My lights were three pin but the connector is 2 pin. I had no way of knowing that as I purchased the items from Amazon.Good news on the lights though, I was able to make it work with the items in the box and my lights look amazing. I probably would have returned the extra cable anyway.

Didn't help when then the lights didn't work and the seller would not rectify the situation
