These lights are so handy! It's great that you have the option of using the sticky adhesive to install, or use the magnet to attach to anything metal. They come in a pack of 3, so I have used one in a small kitchen pantry, so nice to open door and light goes on automatically, the second up in the garage ceiling to light up steps from house to where I keep a freezer, and the third down in a basement room I walk thru frequently to get to another area of house. I like them so much, I have ordered another set! Perfect for a shed, etc, and because they are have motion sensors I don't have to worry about wasting batteries because I forgot to shut them off!

These are nice lights with strong adhesive backing, sufficient lighting and responsive motion sensor. I could see these being really useful and versatile. I purchased them so I could put them in my hallway where my dog likes to sleep outside my door and I had tripped over her too many times. The problem with these lights is that they still work during the day in that hallway. Their is limited light but should be enough for the sensors to pick up on. It's quite annoying when they go off every time you pass under them, all day. It will also kill the batteries much faster. If it wasn't for that, I'd give these 5 stars and In other applications they may work just fine.

TEST THEM IN THE DARK, NOT THE LIGHT! In order to conserve battery power these contain a daylight sensor that prevents them from working under lighted conditions. When I first got them earlier today, I put the batteries in each one, then ran my hand directly over them. The lights did not come on, not matter what I did. I was about to return and give them a seriously bad rap here on Amazon, but then I remembered that they had the daylight sensor I then took them into the darkest room I could find and they worked like a charm! Installed them on the I-beam next to my basement stairwell. An excellent product. Considering buying more.

I own a house that was built in 1894. My kids room is on the 3rd floor the steps to go to there bed rooms didn’t have any light. We tried even painting there rail with glow in the dark paint. The window at the bottom of there steps wouldn’t charge the paint enough so it would stop glowing with in 2hrs. I purchased the Vilso 3pack that did a world of difference. It saved me on a big contractor bill to get lighting installed at the steps. It throws off just enough light. And the best part it has a motion sensor that will automatically shut off the LED after 6-10sec. Had them for just over 3 weeks and they still are working great.

Works as described, perfect for closets and spaces without lights.Brighter than I expected for such small items.Handy that the lights turn and off automatically with motion.Would be ideal if there were an option to keep it on for longer than 30 seconds, as that would make it more usable for certain spaces,but otherwise a super find, and worthwhile.(PS: We're using rechargeable batteries with the lights , they're working fine)

Inexpensive, simple, functional. Box contained 3 lights, individually bubble-wrapped. I used included the double-sided tape to attach it inside a hall closet above the door, since the hall light was blocked from illuminating the top shelves of the closet. Now when I reach for the top shelves, the light automatically comes on and definitely makes it easier to find stuff in the bins I have stored there (hats, gloves, etc). I like the way it automatically shuts off quickly when no movement is detected.4/5 starts since it's not as bright as it could be for 3 AAA batteries (not included) (compared to some of the super-bright flashlights they make nowadays. Still, very satisfied, it works as expected.

These little lights work great. I put them up using the double-sided tape - took about 10 minutes at the most to get the 3 up. They light up the porch enough to allow me to get through it and outside in the dark to get to work. Before, I had to turn on the overhead light, then when I got to the other door and a different light switch, I'd have to go back and turn off the first light. This is so much easier. They've only been up a week, but so far they seem to be going strong.

I bought this because it was the slimmest one. I use it in the refrigirator because the light does not work (not the bulb) and I am not going to spend over $100 to repair it to have light. So, I attach two of these on the sides and it gives plenty of light. In fact, I could use only one and still be bright enough in there which is what I will do when new batteries are needed. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because one did not work, but the seller is sending another one to replace it. You can't go wrong with this. It's attractive, modern looking and bright.
