Excellent service and product

Called and ordered by phone since I needed it right away. The re manufactured head I bought from a local retailer looked like crap so I went with this instead. A 5 year warranty and new casting for the same price! My only regret is not opting with this in the first place, that would have saved me 90 bucks for 3 day air shipping. The casting was very clean, de-burred and did not appear cheap. I double checked the torque on the cam followers and all was to spec. The valves appear brand new, but they did tell me the camshaft and rockers are verified re-man's that are up to spec.. no big deal. You will have to install your own camshaft seal and make sure to save the cam position sensor off the old head. The head seemed fairly dry and I did experience severe lifter tick for about 5min until the lifters pumped fully up. I still question if 1 of the lifters is bad since I still get brief but noteable tick for about 15-30 seconds at startup and there was a large amount of play between the follower and the valve tip prior to installation on one, but that can be repaired with ease down the road if needed. overall I'm very pleased, and its nice to know the customer has the re-designed head with the better valve seats so I don't have to warranty this in 6 months.You will have to return the core, but shipping is covered and you can use the box they send it in. Seems like a great product, very happy!
