I usually buy a brand that contains mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols, which I believe is more complete and a better formulation. This is pretty good though, as it is the natural form of vitamin E, which is way more effective than the synthetic version. I keep a bottle of these capsules in the bathroom to squeeze and apply to cuts and burns. If you get a little burn and quickly puncture and squeeze onto it some vitamin E oil, and then apply more if you start feeling a burning sensation again, it will generally disappear within a day without ever forming a blister. I keep a little push pin nearby to puncture these. This NOW brand is a bit more difficult to puncture than others I've bought. The gelcap is thicker and tougher, which also makes me wonder how well they dissolve in your stomach.

Its a little hard to swallow, being a big pill, but that is because there is a lot of vitamin E inside it. To be specific, mixed tocopherols, which are needful for the body to use the alpha form. I take one of these almost every day, along with other supplements. I cannot imagine why Amazon rejected my previous review as violating 'community standards.'
