Good camera, picture is just okay, nothing fantastic. You may want to use the Iris computer software with this camera.
Update, I had this at five stars but after using it for one night I have do drop it down to three. The motion detection is all wacky and goes off without any movement. I would like to point out that the infrared lights are bouncing off a window and that might be setting it off. Also, correction on what I ended up using at the app on my phone. I am now using the DiGooeye app. it has a cleaner look on the phone. One negative is it doesn't come with a power supply, not a big item but if you were thinking of using this right out of the box make sure you have a power supply.I admit the directions were a bit less than straight forward but it didn't take more than about 15 minutes to get it working. Failed with my iphone but worked with an old android for setting it up. I than was able to have the iphone look for the camera on the network. It also found a camera I already had on the network that was using an app called BW. In the end I put both cameras on BW but if your using an android phone I would suggest staying with the Digooeye app because you will get an alarm sound on the phone even if you have the camera set to silent. I like that but doesn't work on my iphone. I might have an option set wrong but I'm not going to look for it because I am not sure. I'll check out night vision tomorrow night when I set this up in the garage. Oh, if your looking for an easy way to extend WiFi out a distance I decided to use a power line adapter by TP-Link one in the house, one in the garage and Internet is out in the garage. I put a Router on the one in the garage so I have wireless. Took all of ten minutes and that includes the time to open the box.

Cheap Chinese Gadget... (not entirely bad though)
[UPDATE 4-27-17]O.K. my previous rating has moved from 1 star to 3 as I ordered a 2nd one in case I got a lemon on the first one (which I did).Pros: Good picture, neat little features like motion detection based alarm. ONVIF compliant so you can stream and record to software of your choice.Cons: Sound based wifi setup. This should pair the same way a ROKU TV stick or Chromecast pairs by presenting itself as a temporary wireless access point until it receives the real WIFI password. Quality control issues. My first one was very problematic.[ END UPDATE] Night vision on this thing was broken out of the box. This is a common complaint with this unit. Just search youtube for Digoo IR fix.Pairing is a complete pain as there is no way to pair this to your wifi without using the tones method. What is this 1980? I'm surprised they didn't provide an acoustic coupler like the old Hayes modems used to have when interfacing to a land line telephone. If you want a toy to play around with, then this is o.k. for the price. Exactly what I expected a poorly coded Engrish app to accompany the device. On the + side of things it does support ONVIF so if you can get it paired you can easily just point your software of choice to the cameras URL which is rtsp://admin:20160404@IPADDRESS/onvif1 (substitute your password for 20160404 if you changed the default). The picture quality is not half bad actually. I question it's reliability though.[EDIT]After one evening I have given up. The night vision is a complete joke. Also drops frames with nvr software. I think I got a lemon. I will return the unit for exchange and update my review when I receive the new one.

Good camera has its faults.
The app works on iPhone the best so can't use that. The Android app requires way too many permissions to use and if you restrict permissions the app won't work and it times out often on the Android but works flawlessly on iPhone. Overall the camera is nice and gets a great picture even at night it's super clear. It does record and take snapshots pretty well without issue really. Just the amount of permissions it needs makes me worry about who is looking because you have to sign up for their service for it to work and it's Chinese so who knows idk maybe I'm paranoid. You can't change any IP's or anything it's DHCP only but you can set a admin password for the camera so just make sure that's changed and secure your network. 2.4ghz only and won't accept WPA Enterprise connections. You cannot move it and it accepts SD cards up to 64gb which you can format in the app. I'll post a follow up afterwards. Excuse the setup as well.Update 7/17/17After having this camera for a week I can verify that you get what you pay for. The camera has a good picture and good tracking etc. but will not stay connected to my network haven't had a problem with anything else on my 2.4Ghz in the past and I only have this camera on it right now yet it still disconnects and I get network errors through the app. The app is pretty undependable and if you forget the admin password you are simply going to have to reset because you will not get a password reset link and nothing to verify that you signed up for their service after initially registering (I used a dummy email so at your own risk use your main). Camera worked well for the first 5 days then just goes offline and the Android app has a bug on Nougat 7.1 where it will not connect and times out and works fine on the iphone sometimes. Also is a big battery drainer on either phone. I did like it but after using it I will say you should spend your money elsewhere and get something a bit safer that you can control IP's and secure a bit better. I will be returning this item.

Not impressed
I've had great experiences with some relatively cheap IP cameras, so I had high hopes for this camera. Too high, apparently, because it fell short of expectations. The setup was easy, daytime picture quality was great. However, the loss of time for a brief power outage was unexpected and unacceptable. And the night vision was horrible compared to what I'm used to with these types of cameras. Not worth even the low price currently being charged, in my opinion.
