Dust Mask Washable and Reusable Any Color + 4 Active Carbon Filters Included (Medium - Large, Mixed Color)

I'm here in Northern California dealing w/ the fallout from the Camp Fire. :'(( Air quality is terrible -- dangerous, actually, and as an asthmatic, it exacerbates my lung disease.I knew that I wanted a better quality, reusable mask because unfortunately, w/ climate change and an uncaring and incompetent administration (ahem, I hate to get political, but this is BS, people are literally fighting for their lives!), I'm thinking this is going to be the "new normal." We just had the wildfires in Sonoma county, so this is getting far too common place. SAD indeed!!The straps were slightly annoying to adjust out of the box. However, once I got it set up, I really like:(1) DESIGN -- the mask comes in two different sizes for a better fit, it seals VERY well around the face (so much better than the flimsy disposable ones), it has an exhale valve (condensation does naturally occur and the mask gets slippery, so just air it out after use).(2) ADJUSTABILITY -- the bottom strap is super adjustable w/ the plastic clasp.(3) VARIOUS FILTERS -- it comes w/ 4 different filters and you can apparently buy replacement ones.(4) RESUSABLE & WASHABLE -- if you're concerned about the environmental impact of just throwing stuff away, this is a good choice. It's cleaner, too. Just snap off the filter to wash the portion of the mask that comes into contact w/ the face.(5) PRICE -- very affordable. I bought mine a few days ago for $11.99 and free 2 day Prime shipping.6) PACKAGING -- it also came w/ resealable bags for the filters and mask. Small touch, but good for storing it and keeping it clean when not in use.

This is for the large size. I am 6’ 245lbs.I’ve bought 1 of each of at least 6 different respirators to achieve something that will work for COVID protection. I’m also using an N95 spun fiber filter mask over the respirator to comply with requirements that my mask doesn’t have an open exhaust port.This mask fits very well on my chubby cheeks and large chin. Additionally when you test the exhaust port, it works pretty good. It’s a bit less seal than my 3M but for sure it sufficient to prevent in-breathing through the exhaust port. The filters are rather small size, but that doesn’t bother me because I am also covering the entire respirator frame with a N 95 mask. The profile of the mask is such that it doesn’t protrude so much even when covered by the other fiber mask. I don’t look like Darth Vader so much.I will order several more of these. I’m also going to use a thin bead of silicone to seal the filter in, after a few uses I simply swap out the filter and peel the bead of silicone out. I use this method with other masks and it works great.B117 and the other variants certainly make you up your game for PPE. This is a good component for that.UPDATE: I’ve sealed the exhaust port permanently with silicone. Airflow is now only through the filter. It works fine just like this. I even rode my bike with no glasses fog.

I work with stone and pavers.This is allowing way too much dust through. Don't get me wrong, it's blocking what feels like 90% but I can taste and smell the dust. I can't give it any more than 3 stars. It works fairly well but I care about my lungs more than this. Made a nice gift as my co-worker liked it, but he didn't have to pay for it.

This mask comes in two sizes which is good. I order the small one and can use it but it is too small. From the bridge of my nose to the bottom of my chin is 5". The inside of the mask is about 4". I am able to wear it but it fits below my lower lip and above my chin. I have ordered the larger size and will write a review when I get that one. I have COPD and it is much easier to breath with this mask. The higher speed on the fan can be annoying in a quiet place. It seals well enough that it is some times difficult for people to understand you when you talk. From the listener's point of view it sounds muffled. But what good is all this information if you CAN'T GET REPLACEMENT FILTERS? You can't make your own. The filter is sealed in a plastic housing and fits exactly into the mask.

I have asthma, and I bought this to wear primarily while cleaning a large animal cage. I also wear it while dusting and doing DIY projects that produce a lot of dust.I use it with the thinner FFP1-style filter.Just take a look at the picture. That’s a clean filter next to one I’ve been using a few times a week. This thing works.My asthma used to act up every time I cleaned my small animal cage. Not anymore. It also does a great job of reducing the odor, though the thinner-style filters don’t block odor completely. It’s still a significant reduction.I usually have a hard time getting things to stay on my head, but this respirator has never fallen off. The placement and adjustability of the straps is great. It’s also easy to clean and switch out filter pads.It does require more effort to breathe through this than without a mask, but I don’t mind it. It’s not too difficult, and the benefit vastly outweighs the little extra effort. I do stick to the thinner style of pads because of it, though.Replacement filters are pretty cheap, so I’m very happy with my purchase. I’d recommend this to anyone, especially asthma sufferers.

Unfortunately, in recent weeks I was in need of dust masks here in Northern California. I bought CANHEAL dust masks for many reasons. It's washable, many charcoal filters are provided, the fit and seal exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend these face masks, improved air quality immeasurably. Feels natural on, release valve works very well to reduce condensation. Very grateful I has such access to exactly what has needed. Thanks.
