The Doona car seat opens with a handle on the back of the car seat/stroller at the top. The Doona car seat/stroller is the best thing! Saves time & keeps the baby happy instead of moving the baby from a car seat into a different stroller & the baby getting all fussy.

So worth it having 2 bases. The car seat/stroller snaps into the base quick and easy. Without a base, you have to struggle with the car seatbelts.
