L-shaped type Rug 175 cm × 175 cm with Cushion lag thickness 1.5cm

So i bought this and to be honest as far as the actual product i dont thi j theres anything terribly wrong with this floor set. Only 2 things i would change is add zippers to all sides of that mat that way you can customize how your cushions are setup as you may not even want to set it up the same as in the picture. And id also like a much more padded mat on a carpet floor it might work perfectly but i have a wooden floor and so it just doesnt give quite enough padding.The reason i didnt give it a full five stars is because i feel like the pictures don't give an accurate representation of the set. Now this could be because japanese homes are traditionally small. If you have a big living room this is going to feel a little out of place as it's NOT going to take up as much room as youd think. I would recommend get 2-3 if you plan to make it a staple to your living room in an american home. Now i do think it can work as its own stand alone piece as long as its communicated effectively.Positives the cushions are actually pretty comfortable and i could see myself still relaxing and using it as personal relax area and once you get a kotatsu it'll be a nice little chill spot in your home.

This is basically a "floor sofa" and is quite comfortable. It comes in separate pieces and you attach the back cushions via a zipper to the mat. If you want a little space to sit with a coffee table or a kotatsu, this serves quite nicely.
