Ferrex Plus (chelated iron) is the only product that works to boost blood iron to an acceptable level. It's still low but I blood banks don't turn me away for low iron.

I had to cancel this because I read it wrong.I have been prescribed the Ferrex Forte 150 Plus for many years due to anemia issues.The doctors insisted that I had to take iron complex supplements but I couldn’t take those compressed tablets.My doctor searched the Rx manual and found these capsules.They are GREAT & I’ve never had any stomach pain, gross belching or other issues like I had with the compressed ones.I didn’t take these because they weren’t the “Forte”, but otherwise the same. Other than that I’m sure they are as great as the “Forte” ones that I do take & so I would recommend them!!

All (well, almost all) if these 150 iron supplements are exactly the same - apparently all made by one company and sold by many, under various brand names.This is one of the poorer values - shop around - it's all the same product. And available from other companies for a lot less; another vendor on Amazon has 100 capsules for $15.And some are individually packed, 10 per card/10 cards per box. This is no doubt to child-proof it, but if you don't have kids in your house, it's a pain in the ***. Do not make assumptions.
