Works great, easy set up

I use this with the cadence app, works great for speed and cadence. Set up is easy with my iPhone and it avoids needing a separate cycle computer. The only drawback is you need to have plenty of cell phone charge as the phone drains pretty quickly. I did a 21 mile ride over a 1:20 period and battery went from 100% to 68% on my IPhone 14 Pro with a healthy battery life. I can’t speak to the battery life of the individual trackers. Also not sure what the advantage of using the sensor vs GPS signal is for speed. The cadence app allows you to use GPS or give the tracker priority, so I guess if you’re in an area with poor GPS coverage it would e useful. It’s distance and speed is accurate compared to GPS, riding the same route with GPS tracking gives identical results within .1 miles as the sensor.

Good accessory for CYCPLUS

The CYCPLUS bike computer seemed a little inaccurate as far as speed and distance goes, (GPS signal) but it can receive a wheel speed signal via one of these sensors. I bought a set of two and decided to hook one up for cadence as well. They're easy to set up, just flip a switch, one way for cadence and one for speed, just make sure to input your wheel size into the computer. Once the computer receives the signal your set! The only downside is the wheel sensor is pretty hard to attach to the hub, but it can be done. Happy cycling!

these ACTUALLY work

i have a pair if magene. tried pairing one set to SPEED with my Bryton Rider 15 and it never really worked. even the Bryton sensor on the crank has a hard time staying connected. is it the Bryton or the sensor? all i know is that these ones have a switch inside and they will only pair for the position that the switch indicates. no need to see what color the LED us blinking when you pull out and put back in the battery. they won't both compete for the gps unit for the same data slot by accident. great affordable add on to gps units. i think I lost cadence data on one ride after a prolonged stop. can't say for sure the speed didn't as well as the gps would take over thst duty. i am thinking it's more my gps unit more so than these add-ons. the Bryton was knly $75 after all.

Very impressed for the cost.

Seems to do a great job, and I felt they installed quite easily for a guy with 2XL hands trying to get your hand in to install the speed sensor through the spoke. I had nothing but headaches with the Garmen sensors, I was able to make the Wahoo ones work on my other bike, but these were easier to get in and I would consider them again.

Works and good value, but... (updated)

UPDATE: after leaving the review, the seller reached out and offered refund on the lost sensor. Awesome customer service! I would still recommend this product and seller, just maybe add a zip-tie on the cadence sensor. The one mounted on the wheel hub for speed is good, the other mounted on the crank as cadence lost on the first trip. Just a light 10-mile ride on paved paths - gone. So still happy with the speedometer, but can't recommend it without a better attachment for cadence.
