The Little Tree

"The Little Tree" delivers a big message. I was already a fan of Muons first book "In a Village by the Sea" but her second book confirms her standing in the children's book industry. Muons books introduce a level of conflict within the storytelling not typically seen in this genre, which is great for the adults reading the books to their children. I was turning the pages faster than my kid wanted to although I immediately gave the book a second read just to enjoy the lively illustrations (and to satisfy my little one). One will also notice that Muons two books revolve around the family unit and her work serves as a refreshing reminder to always cherish your loved ones closest to you.

My young nephew loves this book. He wanted his Mother to read it all in one sitting. Beautifully written and illustrated. Made a nice gift to a six year old,
