Very little compression compared to the beige color.
It looks really nice but the compression is nothing like the compression in the beige color. Odd... if you need compression for lymphedema this is not to sleeve for you. Get the one in beige.

Reduces swelling caused by lymphedema.
I have lymphedema in my right arm. I wear this to work because the black matches my uniform and doesn't seem to be as obvious as a flesh colored one. This does help reduce the swelling in my arm when I wear it.
