This wool batting is just what you need for stand out trapunto on art quilts. Gives you more loft than regular layers of standard batting.

I typically buy Hobbs Tuscany wool batting for my projects, but think I've found a new favorite. Although they are similar in thickness, I think this batting puffs up a bit more during the quilting process, resulting in a nicer quilting texture. Just a little thicker than cotton, wool batting is breathable and keeps you warm in winter and is not too hot in the summer.

First time to order this brand of wool batting. Allowed wool to open up and bloom before putting in between quilt layers- Nice loft. Used for memory quilts. Size is just right, no shortage.

Love Quilters Dream wool. It has a wonderful drape and washes beautifully. I use this batting in many of my show quilts and have been lucky enough to win awards locally.

This was idea filling for the throws I made. It’s warm, soft and does just what I wanted. If you need to machine wash your throws often, I’d use something else. The wool requires hand wash.

This is the best batting if you want good loft, beautiful drape, and no fold lines in your quilt. It makes the quilt very warm and cozy. This is my favorite batting.
