Replacement Remote for Google Chromecast 4k Snow Streaming Media Player (Remote Control ONLY) - GA01919REM GA01919-US

I was pleasantly surprised at how easily this remote paired with my 2nd gen chromecast (GoogleTV) and my older not very smart 1024P TV that is now very smart. TV Off/On volume along with streaming services and voice interface all with one remote working seamlessly.Incidentally, this is not a replacement remote control. It is a second remote control so both users have their own controller. I was concerned that only one controller would work but that was not the case. We can both control the TV and sometimes even step on each other's button pushing. But that's just fine it's what we hoped would happen.

I don't know if this is refurbished or off-brand, but it didn't work at all. It paired OK, and worked some of the time. But sometimes there were big delays when I clicked a button, and sometimes it took 1 click and actually sent several clicks. (Like fast forward would keep going long after I let go, or once the volume kept going all the up to 100.)It also refused to system update the remote, which made me suspicious that it's not legit.A new 4K Chromecast is only $50 now, so save your money and don't repeat my mistake. Just get a new one.

Replacement for original remote which stopped working because of cheap diaphragm switch in control wheel. Cheaply made remote. I suspect I'll will have to change it again in the future

I ordered this remote as we had lost our other remote and needed a replacement. This product feels and looks cheaper. Within a month the volume, home and wheel buttons all stopped working. It's unfortunate because this is a $25 remote- I expected it to work a lot longer with that price tag.

When I got this, I used regular batteries and tried at least 5x to pair the remote but it did not work. Tried another set of regular batteries and it still would not pair. Got annoyed and gave up. Before I returned it, I decided to try one more time with the alkaline batteries from the old remote and it worked like a charm. Still works as good as the old one so I’m happy with it. My only complaint is it doesn’t come with instructions and it should.

If your dog ate the original remote, this is a good replacement!It works as expected, easy to setup and looks exactly as the original.I recommend this product!

The remote came early. But only had very minimal instructions included. I couldn't get it to "pair with my chromecast/tv. I contacted Anderic for help and have yet to hear back from them beyond an acknowledgement of my email.
