NBA at 50

I have this VHS and now I have it on DVD. It is an awesome display of the early beginnings of the NBA and gives you a front row seat to see how the league grew from such a humble beginning to what it is today. It gives a great look at all the great players of each decade and while doing so gives you a look at the teams who won the NBA Championship. I loved it because I saw most of the players starting in the 1960's through 2000. Those that had the chance to live through the first 50 to 40 years of the growth of the NBA will love to watch the players once again when they were young and unbelievable to watch. Dr.J, Jordan, Bird, Magic, The Ice Man, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell and the great players of the Celtics dynasty. The best thing I can tell you is to purchase this DVD if you love the NBA. You will get a chance to relive watching your favorite players and the great teams of that time period.

Great product. Arrived on time

This film is just great! It brought back so many great memories of the past NBA. I've been watching the NBA for some 55 years now and I've seen many great players come and go. Many changes in the game too. The players are bigger, stronger, in better shape and the game is faster and more physical. But I stll love Cousy!

It is a wonderful objectve history of the NBA. A visual wonder in excellent condition. I loved the dvd and I will cherish this film or DVD. I recommend this who is a true basketball fan.

Very informative but could do with an extra disc.

EXCELLENT

最初はバードのプレイが楽しみだった。しかし、見てみるとラッセルやマラビッチ、マジックのプレーに一番驚いた。ラッセルのブロックパスはチームの速攻をつくり、マラビッチのプレーは今見ても新鮮なプレー。マジックはドリブルが高い、なのに安心して見れる。彼のパスはオーラに満ち溢れている。　もちろんバードも楽しめた。バック・ザ・ビハインドパスもやっていた。３Ｐコンテストの映像もあった。８０年代のＮＢＡ黄金期が存分に味わえた。　５０人を紹介する場面がある。ぺティットがフォワード扱いされていたけれど、文章だけでしか知らなかったプレイヤーが映像で理解できた。　ちなみに、あのチェンバレンの最近のインタビューもあった。(　マラビッチはさすがになかったが　)　スパイクリーが司会を少ししていた。エンディングにスーパープレーが流れた。　この　ＮＢＡ ａｔ ５０　はＮＢＡ好きにはたまらない内容ですので興味がある方は買ってみてはどうですか？

ＮＢＡａｔ５０に選ばれた名プレイヤーの紹介ＤＶＤ。個人的にはドクターＪ以前のプレイヤーの映像は結構楽しめました。ただし、『うぉー！スゲー！』と唸るプレー映像ばかりではないので、万人向けでは無いかも知れないと思い、評価を星４つにしました。その辺を考慮した上で見て欲しいですね。もしボブ・クージー、ジョージ・ガーヴィン、ジェリー・ウエスト、チェンバレン、ジャバーアイザイアなどの名前だけ知っているという方でバスケが好きな人は、是非映像を見て欲しいですね。この人たちがいたから今のＮＢＡがある訳ですから。特に見て欲しいのはジャバーのスカイフックですね。ノールックパスやダブルクラッチなどは現役プレイヤーも出来ますが、あのスカイフックは絶対に見れません。誰にも真似出来ない素晴らしいムーブです。芸術です。．．．．．熱くなってしまいました。すみません。最後に『Born to Ball』のＤＶＤよりは良いと思います。

これが一番良い以前に選ばれたNBA偉大な50人というのがいてそのプレイヤー達の名シーンが見られるこの値段ならバスケファン一家に一本あって間違いない
