Best book for the trade
I am a licensed 2nd engineer in Massachusetts which is the most difficult state to get fireman and stationary engineer licensing. That being said I have used this book countless times for studying, and reference. It has everything you need for state exams the state uses this book for test questions. All entry level fireman I recommend picking this book up

Great information
Could use an update on the glossary section and index sections as far as looking up more detailed part systems. The math formula and chemistry portions are very wordy and confusing at best. There’s also no real talk of step up or step down transformers dealing with generators either. Great book too gather information from. And the test part should give all the answers. For some reason they only provided some of them

Not a review
This is not a review. I gave five stars because the seventh edition is so good. I was just wondering how much more info is in this one versus the seventh edition? Thanks in advance.
