Hot Rollers - Ionic, Instant Heat, For Short and Long Hair 1 Inch Diameter; Set of 12 - Short

This is the first time I have used hot rollers. They were fairly simple. I've gotten several compliments on my hair since using. Takes a bit of time to roll depending on how much hair you have, but allows you to continue on with your morning once you are waiting for them to cool in your hair. Works for me. The only draw back I have found with this product is the black insert comes out of two of my rollers (so far) when I pull it off the heating unit. The black inserts protect you from a small metal ring on the bottom that is very hot. I have to get my tweezers out and pull it off the unplugged heating unit and they slide back up in the roller simply. Just more of a pain. The result far out weighs this issue. Twelve rollers also isn't enough for my hair. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it, so I roll the top as much as possible and then use my curling comb for the rest. I am thinking about ordering another set of rollers so I can roll my entire head.

Heats up fast, and the white stand is easy to keep clean. I like the soft carrying case because I can pack it in a suitcase without crushing the lid. The curl or wave lasts a LOT longer then my previous soft Clairol curlers. In fact, I have enough wave & body to go into a day two hair style without recurling my hair. BUT the smaller curlers get too hot to handle. I have solved this problem by heating the large curlers first. When their dots turn white, I place the smaller curlers on the stand and let them heat up while I get the large curlers in place. I also use a heat protectant spray before placing the curlers in my hair which is fine & thin.

Nice hot rollers. Heat up well and give me a soft curl. I have fine hair and the clips will not hold my hair or the curler on my head. I use the clips from an old set of hot rollers that are metal and they hold my hair in clip. That is the reason for the 4 stars.

These certainly do the job - no question about that. But they get super hot. My hair is short, so winding short hair around a hot hot hot roller that you need to keep a good grip on is not easy! Be careful as they can also burn your scalp. I've begun letting them cool off before I do the rolling.

I got this because I wanted smoother curls without hurting my arm. My first attempt went badly but it has nothing to do with the rollers at all. I really just need more practice. I have a lot of hair but it's shoulder length and in the process of growing out. I'm sure it's a placement issue BUT after starting from the bottom, I could have used about 3 more curlers. Again, I'm sure it's user error BUT I'm considering getting another set because when this massive mane does grow out, I think I'm going to need more than the standard set.

I think the rollers work fine. I didn't. ItI e them being any better than any of the other similar rollers. I think the clips to hold the rollers are pretty cheap and flimsy. I was expecting a lot better quality for the price.

Just received my rollers and 1 already does not heat up > looking for replacement rollers for the set I prefer the smaller size instead of the larger rollers >

So far I am liking these rollers. Hadn't used hot rollers in years until my daughter said she uses them and her hair always looks great. Easy way to help me look better.
