Great Ballard dupe
Had my eye on similar Ballard Design stools for my new kitchen but found these at the last second! I decided to try them out and am glad I did. As other reviewers mentioned, these chairs are annoying to assemble and the natural materials on the seat can vary in color (see photo). Additionally, one or two of them came with small chips in the finish but I just covered these with a wood touch up marker. Overall, if you have time and patience for assembly and are looking for Ballard dupe I would recommend these stools.

Great Ballard dupe!
These have the look I was wanting at $100 less per stool than the designer catalog version. Are they as good quality? Probably not, but they seem sturdy enough and are holding up just fine after a few months use. Another reviewer mentioned the wood pegs that hide the screws won’t stay in, but that’s the only issue so far. There was a very slight inconsistency in the color of the rush seats in one of the three I purchased, but I expect that with natural materials, and it’s most likely not noticeable to others. My husband had no problems assembling them. Overall, these are pretty and comfortable stools at a good price and I would absolutely recommend them.

Nice stool
My only complaint is the wooden pegs that cover the screws do not stay in place. I had to use wood glue to hold them on. This is not good if I need to tighten the screws in the future.

I’ve DIY’d dozens of pieces of furniture & this was not fun.
One wood hole in the rung end was drilled off center. Which meant that the locking cam couldn’t work because the screw couldn’t catch it to engage. So I drilled out the hole so they cam could be off center. Then the DARN cam hole wasn’t cleanly made: there were metal scraps inside that prevented the screw from going in. At this point I walked away. And swore. A LOT. I proceeded to drill out the cam hole, a labor intensive process so I wouldn’t strip the screw holds. And it created tiny bits of metal, I used a damp towel to wipe every few seconds so I wouldn’t breathe them in. What should have taken 20 minutes to assemble took several very frustrating hours. And now it’s finished but a little too high for counter height. I guess I’ll cut the legs off a bit tomorrow. Or use it for a side table. All in all not worth the money, I’ve DIY’d dozens of pieces of furniture & this was not fun.

Love them
I bought three of these stools. I was nervous to assemble them because of the reviews. It took me about 20-25 minutes per stool. The first two came together so easily. The third one had one leg that I guess wasn't drilled out enough to make the pieces slide in as easily but with some force it went in and was just fine. The stools are solid, and pretty comfortable. We have concrete floors and the plastic feet on these stools slide around a lot so I'll need to get some fabric feet pads. I bought the Missouri White and it's a beautiful creamy white just like my upper cabinets. I couldn't be more pleased.

Very stylish, sturdy stools
I already had two but moved into a house with a larger Island. Couldn't wait for the 1in black to come back in stock, so I ordered the white one and spray painted myself before I put it together. No one can tell which one is new and which one is seven years old. They're very sturdy.

carolina classic 24" counter stool
I ordered 4 of these counter stools. The first one was easy to put together with no problems. The second one didn't have enough holes drilled in a rung. Since it was 99% completed I took the appropriate rung out of the third box so that that box could be returned nice and neat. Return was no problem and my money was returned. Then the 4th stool arrived. It had all of its holes but one was not drilled deep enough so that the barrel screw would not drop properly. Husband fixed that and it was put together. If you get a box that looks like it was open before, beware. They just shipped it out again without looking at the problem. At least that is what seems to have happened to me. I do love the stools. They look great.
