Don't waste your money on this, it doesn't perform its function.
There are 8 different straps on this, 4 padded straps and 4 compression straps. These straps are difficult to align, to keep aligned while tightening, and generally don't stay in place during use. This item is also not returnable. The Rotation movement pins on either side don't stay in place to protect range of motion, aren't intuitive to set, and are generally a pain to deal with. If I had it all to do over again, I'd fork out more to get an item that performs well in its main function.

This is very badly made. The pins come loose and you can fall. I perchased a six strap brace and got a four strap brace, not good. This is the worst brace to buy very unsafe. I regret buying it. Why was I sent a different brand and a four strap when it clearly shows a six strap on the picture of the ad? I ordered the six strap.

No refund even if it's not working for you
No matter how tight I tighten the straps this brace will not stay up on my leg. Just know you can only tighten this on a injured knee so much. YOU CAN'T RETURN THIS ITEM. Therefore, be sure that this is the item that will work the way you want it to. For me, this isn't working at all. The screw is falling out and it won't tighten near the knee.

Works fine/good quality but-
I works fine but it is long, have several wrap on components and cumbersome to put on by yourself. If you have pain in your leg and/or knee like I do, You will need help. I works fine/good quality but-

This unit is the way to go. Save hundreds and try it.
There are so many choices out there. It seems like the good ones cost $500+. I took a chance on this and I am very happy. I wear it over my jeans. I find it stays in place better and I can take it off if I want to look like I am a normal person. My MDL is giving me trouble. The cure is to apply cold and stay off it. I have to work every day so I keep abusing it. I wear the brace about twice a week and it keeps me from stressing the MDL. Then I feel pretty good for several days. This unit has all the adjustability needed for different legs. The hinge can be set to restrict the motion to whatever range you need. And for me it helps avoid side movement and twisting. I tried many soft braces. The drove me nuts and did little to help. This unit is giving me a chance to heal while I continue to function.
