(2 Pack) Petmate Tagnabbit Quick Release Pet Rings

Before purchasing this product, I read all of the negative customer reviews complaining of the item breaking soon after using it. But I really liked its style (i.e., the easy open rings and the swivel function) and decided to investigate further before giving up on this item.So I phoned Petmate to ask about all of these complaints. The representative I spoke with admitted that they had had some initial manufacturing issues with this item but assured me that those issues had long since been resolved. So I went ahead and purchased the product through Amazon.But I still ended up having the same problem that others complained of - a few days after I attached the tag connector to my dog's collar, it broke off. (Specifically, the pin in the small ring fell out of the ring and the ring fell off of the collar.)Too bad! It's a great idea for a pet tag connector but not properly made.

Perhaps if you use this on a truly sedentary animal this might last you longer. My dogs are playful and perhaps that's why the hinge broke. I found one in the backyard with the clasp/hinge broken and the 2nd fell off unnoticed during a dog walk.I've attached an image of the broken hinge/clasp on the part of the product that attaches to the collar. It is busted open. I can try to fix it with some pliers and force it back into place, but the point is to say both of the tag holders broke in the same way, in a short amount of time.Luckily someone called the number on the tag to return the attached rabies tag. It is really cute, but the clasp isn't sturdy enough to remain locked onto the collar, it's going to bust off at some point. I think it took less than a month for this to break. Disappointed!Edit:I have med-large sized dogs. I used these on my 50lb huskies. 2 year olds.

I am missing over 35 bucks worth of ID and the Tangabbit is to blame...The top latch does not stay securely closed and has weak spring. i've purchased 4 and 3 are faulty.Issue: The top Clip has inferior Spring and will come open.Tagnibit fell off my pets collar taking with it:1- Engraved pet tag @ $9.951 - Web Enabled Dynotag @ $19.951- Avid microchip tag @ $5 plus shipping.

These fell apart within a few days and both dogs lost their tags.

Dog had it on his collar about 3 days and I just found his tags on the floor and a broken product attached to his collar.

Broke within two weeks. Useless and low quality.

They are great for putting all the tags on your dog. It is easy on and off with these clips..

This was supposed to be a “2 pack”, but there was only 1. For the misleading packaging information I am giving this one star. The product itself is actually really cool. It is sturdy and so much easier to use than the traditional s hooks.
